Objectives of Study:

To explore whether the small group teaching mode and traditional teaching mode have better effects on the body self-esteem and self-efficacy of junior high school students in physical education

纳入标准:

年龄:13-14岁,初中二年级学生; 身体健康,能够参与体育活动,且无参与体育活动禁忌症; 学生及其家长同意参与研究并签署知情同意书; 学生在身体自尊和自我效能感基线评估时,能够参与完整评估。

Inclusion criteria

1.Age: 13-14 years old, second grade junior high school students; 2.healthy, able to participate in sports activities, and no contraindications to participate in sports activities; students and their parents agree to participate in the study and sign the informed consent form; 3.students can participate in the complete assessment when the baseline assessment of body self-esteem and self-efficacy is completed.

排除标准:

存在重大身体疾病或心理疾病,如严重的心肺疾病、认知障碍等,无法参与体育活动的学生; 未完成基线评估或干预期中失访的学生; 学生或家长拒绝参与或撤回同意的学生; 对实验干预有重大不适应反应的学生。

Exclusion criteria:

1.Students with major physical or mental illnesses, such as severe cardiopulmonary disease, cognitive impairment, etc., who are unable to participate in physical activities; 2. students who have not completed the baseline assessment or lost follow-up during the intervention period; 3.students or parents who refuse to participate or withdraw consent; 4.students who have significant adverse reactions to the experimental intervention.

Randomization Procedure (please state who generates the random number sequence and by what method):

This study will use a computer-generated random number table for random grouping. A unique identifier will be assigned to each participant through a random number generator, and based on this identifier, participants will be allocated to either the experimental group (small group teaching model) or the control group (traditional teaching model). The specific steps are as follows: The research coordinator is responsible for generating and managing a random number table to ensure the randomization process is transparent and unbiased. After a baseline assessment, each participant was randomly assigned to either the experimental group or the control group based on their unique identifier. The grouping process will be conducted by the research coordinator to ensure that the allocation process remains independent of the researchers and other interventionists, thereby reducing the risk of selective bias.
