Objectives of Study：

? To compare change in serum progesterone and PIBF levels at recruitment and between day 4 and 6 of treatment in pregnant women (with gestational age between weeks 6 to 10) presenting with threatened miscarriage at KK Hospital Women's 24h Clinic, who have been randomised to receive either micronised progesterone or dydrogesterone; ? To compare miscarriage rates between women in progesterone and dydrogesterone group; ? To compare extent of bleeding at day 4 and 6 of treatment, relative to that at presentation; ? To compare side effects of progesterone and dydrogesterone through subjective reporting by participants.

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

Exclusion criteria：

1.Treated with progesterone for previous per vagina bleeding in this current pregnancy;
2.Treated with progesterone for any other medical reasons in this current pregnancy;
3.Women diagnosed with inevitable miscarriage;
4.Women planning to terminate the pregnancy;
5.Women who are known to have recurrent miscarriages (3 or more consecutive pregnancy loss before 24 weeks of gestation);
6.Women who have pre-existing luteal phase deficiency or other forms of diagnosed progesterone deficiency.
