Objectives of Study：

To evaluate the efficacy and safety of berberine for secondary prevention in patients with ischaemic stoke.

药物成份或治疗方案详述：

 

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

 

纳入标准：

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

1. 大面积脑梗死或昏迷患者；
2. 有过颅内外动脉狭窄血管成形术者；
3. 妊娠或哺乳期妇女；
4. 过敏体质及对多种药物过敏者；
5. 除动脉粥样硬化以外其他原因的缺血性脑卒中，如心源性脑栓塞（任何心房纤颤）、动脉炎、真性红细胞增多症、镰状细胞性贫血、血小板增多症、血栓栓塞性血小板减少性紫癜、弥漫性血管内凝血、脑淀粉样血管病、Moyamoya病、颅内血管畸形、颅内动脉瘤等；
6. 发病时有严重心脏病、心功能不全、肝功能障碍、肾功能不全，呼吸衰竭、恶性肿瘤等预计不能完成随访1年者；活动性消化性溃疡、严重影响药物吸收的胃肠疾患；
7. 精神病患者；
8. 凝血功能障碍或全身出血性疾病或病史；
9. 病人和家属不同意或拒绝签字；
10. mRS＞4级；
11. 洼田饮水试验≥4级及其他原因不能按时服药者；
12. 3个月内参加其他临床试验者；
13. ★葡萄糖六磷酸脱氢酶（G-6-PD）缺乏者（因本病患者服用小檗碱可能导致急性溶血）；
14. 既往有脑出血病史者；
15. 研究人员认为其他原因不适合临床试验者。

Exclusion criteria：

1. patients with large area of cerebral infarction or ina coma;
2. patients with angioplasty of intra and exterior cerebral arterial stenosis;
3. women with pregnancy or lactation;
4. history of sensitivity to any of the medicine in the trial;
5. patients with cerebral infarction exception to atherosclerosis such as cardioembolic stroke, arteritis, polycythemia vera, crescent cell anaemia, thrombocythemia, purpura haemorrhagica, DIC, moyamoya disease, intracranial vascular malformation, intracranial aneurysm;
6. severe complication such as cardiac, renal, hepatic, lung or blood disorders or malignancy that can’t accomplish 1 year follow-up; current peptic ulceration;
7. psychiatric disease;
8. history of bleeding diathesis or systemic bleeding;
9. history of intracranial hemorrhage;
10. patients or their dependants disagree or reject to sign;
11. modified Rankin Scale(mRS) score of 4 or more;
12. water drinking test>=4;
13. enrollment<=3 months in any other clinical trial;
14. patients with G-6-PD;
15. judgment by investigators to be unsuitable for the study.
