研究目的：

评估自主设计的舌位矫治器（tongue positioner）的效果，是否容易被患儿接受，能否促进牙弓生长、口唇闭合和颌面部发育。  

Objectives of Study：

To assess the effectiveness of self-designed tongue positioners and their acceptability to children and their ability to promote the growth of dental arches, lip closure and maxillofacial development.

纳入标准：

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

以前接受过正畸治疗，颅面生长异常，曾接受过耳鼻喉和口内手术（如舌系带，扁桃体或腺样体切除术）的治疗、全身性疾病和颞下颌关节病。

Exclusion criteria：

Previous orthodontic treatment, craniofacial growth abnormalities, previous treatment for ear, nose, throat and intraoral surgery (e.g. lingual frenectomy, tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy), systemic diseases and TMJ disorders.
