研究目的：

我们旨在调查海南省GBS的临床特征及发病危险因素，比较脱髓鞘形式与轴突形式的发病情况，研究前驱及特殊感染、年龄、个人史、生活史、代谢综合征等因素对GBS的临床表型，病程和严重程度的影响。  

Objectives of Study：

The clinical and epidemiological pro?les of Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) in southern China have yet to be fully recognised. We aimed to investigate the subtypes of GBS in Hainan province in China, compare the clinical features of demyelinating form with that of axonal form and test whether preceding infections and age have in?uence on the clinical phenotype, disease course and severity of GBS.

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

（1）入院5天内放弃检查和治疗的患者
（2）复发患者
（3）不能排除其他诊断的患者

Exclusion criteria：

Patients who abandoned examination and treatment within 5 days after admission, and those with an alternative diagnosis for weakness were excluded.
