研究目的：

(1) to estimate the direct and indirect social economic costs; (2) to assess the health-related quality of life (HRQOL) in patients with cerebellar ataxia during 2019 in Hong Kong; (3a) to examine the correlation between the severity of cerebellar ataxia and cost, and; (3b) to examine the correlation between severity of cerebellar ataxia and quality of life.  

Objectives of Study：

(1) to estimate the direct and indirect social economic costs; (2) to assess the health-related quality of life (HRQOL) in patients with cerebellar ataxia during 2019 in Hong Kong; (3a) to examine the correlation between the severity of cerebellar ataxia and cost, and; (3b) to examine the correlation between severity of cerebellar ataxia and quality of life.

Patients data will be collected using a questionnaire. The collected information will be safely stored in the principal investigators' personal computer. The data will be stored for 5 years and thereafter will be deleted. The personal details of the included participants will not be disclosed in any of the outputs arising from this study including conference presentation and publications.
