研究目的：

目前虽然从理论机制上和相关文献均显示KD对线粒体癫痫患儿治疗有效且具有安全性，但目前研究大多数停留在小样本和个案报道，国内没有相应报道，故为了进一步证实KD对线粒体癫痫治疗疗效，我们将联合北京儿童医院、深圳儿童医院等多家儿童医院进行多中心研究，对生酮饮食治疗线粒体脑病伴癫痫患儿进行多中心临床观察，总结中国KD治疗线粒体癫痫患儿状况，进一步明确其疗效性，阻止线粒体病恶化，以改善患儿生活质量。  

Objectives of Study：

Although the theoretical mechanism and related literatures have shown that KD is effective and safe in the treatment of children with mitochondrial epilepsy, most of the current studies remain in small samples and case reports. There is no corresponding report in China, in order to further confirm KD efficacy on mitochondrial epilepsy, we will combine with Beijing Children's Hospital, Shenzhen Children's Hospital and other children's hospitals for multi-center research to observe the safety and efficacy of ketogenic diet treatment used for mitochondrial epilepsy, sum up the situation of Chinese KD treatment treating children with mitochondrial epilepsy, further clarify its curative effect and prevent the deterioration of mitochondrial disease to improve the life quality of patients.

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

 

纳入标准：

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

（1）患有严重消化、心血管、呼吸、肝脏、泌尿系统或具有生酮饮食禁忌的遗传代谢性疾病（如：ETC缺陷中复合物2~5型、脂肪酸代谢障碍等），以及先天性免疫缺陷病等不适合生酮饮食治疗者；
（2）剧烈呕吐；
（3）发热或感染性疾病活动期；
（4）其他：包括以上未特指的表格中所列禁忌证等；
（5）接受过移植手术、干细胞治疗、在半年之内输注过异体血制品、有溶血疾病的患者；

Exclusion criteria：

(1) Patients with severe digestion, cardiovascular, respiratory, liver, urinary system or contraindications to ketogenic diet (eg, complex type 2-5 in ETC deficiency, fatty acid metabolism disorders, etc.), and congenital immunodeficiency diseases;
(2) Severe vomiting;
(3) Active period of fever or infectious diseases;
(4) Others: including the contraindications listed in the unspecified form above: Metabolic disease contraindicating use of the ketogenic diet e.g. pyruvate carboxylase deficiency, Pyruvate carboxylase deficiency, porphyria, long-chain acyl-dehydrogenase deficiency (LCAD), medium-chain acyl-dehydrogenase deficiency (MCAD) from previous medical investigation and screening at baseline;
(5) Patients who have undergone transplantation surgery, stem cell therapy, transfusion of allogeneic blood products within six months, and hemolytic disease;
