針對急性住院或慢性機構老人，以國際健康功能與身心障礙分類系統(ICF, International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health)的架構為基礎，觀察蛋白質補給配合運動訓練對於改善肌肉質量與身體活動功能之成效。  

Objectives of Study：

To identify the intervention effects of PS plus ExT on muscle mass and function outcomes which are based on ICF model in frail older adults with acute (i.e., lower limb fracture or total joint replacement) or chronic (nursing home residents) conditions.

纳入标准：

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

有心血管疾病不適運動者、因神經系統疾病致肢體無力或認知功能損傷患者、腎臟病病史無法接受蛋白質補充者。

Exclusion criteria：

Having a history of:
1. cadiovascular disease that is not suitable for exercise training;
2. neurological disease or cognitive impairments;
3. kidney disease that is not suitable for protein supplementation.
