本研究拟采用随机对照试验设计,系统评估4个月8小时限时进食(Time-Restricted Eating, TRE)干预对健康成年人生物年龄的影响,以PhenoAge和KDM Biological Age(KDM-BA)作为主要结局指标,评价TRE是否能够延缓生物年龄进程。其次,本研究将进一步评估TRE对体重、体质指数(BMI)、代谢相关指标及炎症指标的影响,并探讨其对肠道菌群组成与多样性以及体温调节特征的作用,分析上述变化与生物年龄改变之间的关系,从而探索TRE延缓衰老的潜在机制。本研究旨在为限时进食作为一种安全、可行且易于推广的时序营养干预策略提供高质量的人群随机对照试验证据,为促进健康老龄化和优化居民膳食时间管理提供科学依据和理论支持。 |

Objectives of Study: |
The study will employ a randomized controlled trial design to systematically evaluate whether an 8-hour time-restricted eating (TRE) intervention can effectively slow biological aging in healthy adults, with a particular focus on its effects on biological age indicators, including PhenoAge and KDM Biological Age (KDM-BA). In addition, the study will investigate the effects of TRE on gut microbiota diversity, thermoregulation, body weight, and other health-related indicators, with the aim of elucidating the potential mechanisms and health benefits of time-restricted eating in aging-related processes. The findings of this study will provide scientific evidence and theoretical support for dietary recommendations and time-based nutritional intervention strategies to promote healthy aging among the Chinese population. |

排除标准: |
1. 已执行限时进食:过去 3 个月内已自主采用 8 小时或更严格的限时进食模式者; 2. 严重代谢及慢性疾病:糖尿病、低血糖病史、需特殊饮食管理的代谢疾病;心血管疾病(如心梗、卒中、心衰)、慢性肾病、肝病;既往或现患恶性肿瘤、严重神经系统或内分泌疾病; 3. 消化系统疾病:严重胃肠道疾病(如消化性溃疡、炎症性肠病、胃食管反流病)或近期胃肠手术史; 4. 严重心理或精神疾病:确诊抑郁症、焦虑症、精神分裂症或其他影响执行干预计划的心理疾病; 5. 不健康生活方式:目前正在吸烟以及每周 2 次以上饮酒者; 6. 配合能力受限:无法维持相对规律的生活方式,难以配合干预要求;无法使用电子设备进行饮食记录、与研究团队沟通; 7. 孕妇、哺乳期女性或计划怀孕者。 |

Exclusion criteria: |
1. Current practice of time-restricted eating: Individuals who have independently followed an 8-hour or more restrictive time-restricted eating regimen during the previous 3 months; 2. Severe metabolic and chronic diseases: History of diabetes or hypoglycemia, metabolic disorders requiring special dietary management; cardiovascular diseases (e.g., myocardial infarction, stroke, or heart failure); chronic kidney disease or liver disease; current or previous malignant tumors; severe neurological or endocrine disorders; 3. Gastrointestinal diseases: Severe gastrointestinal disorders (e.g., peptic ulcer disease, inflammatory bowel disease, or gastroesophageal reflux disease) or a recent history of gastrointestinal surgery; 4. Severe psychological or psychiatric disorders: Diagnosed depression, anxiety disorder, schizophrenia, or other mental health conditions that may impair adherence to the intervention protocol; 5. Unhealthy lifestyle habits: Current smokers or individuals who consume alcohol more than twice per week; 6. Limited ability to comply with the study protocol: Individuals unable to maintain a relatively regular lifestyle or comply with the intervention requirements; unable to use electronic devices for dietary recording or communication with the research team; 7. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, or women planning to become pregnant during the study period. |

Blinding: |
As this study involves a dietary behavioral intervention, participants are required to follow a prescribed eating schedule; therefore, blinding of participants and intervention staff is not feasible. Accordingly, this study will employ an open-label design. To minimize measurement and analytical bias, researchers responsible for laboratory testing, gut microbiota sequencing analysis, and statistical analyses will not be involved in participant allocation or intervention implementation. All study data will be collected, entered, and managed according to standardized procedures. |

Data collection and Management (A standard data collection and management system include a CRF and an electronic data capture: |
An Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system will be used for data collection and management. Study data will include demographic information, dietary records, anthropometric measurements, laboratory test results, body temperature monitoring data, and gut microbiota data. Participants will complete dietary records and questionnaires using electronic devices, while study staff will enter anthropometric and laboratory data into the electronic database. All data will be de-identified using unique participant identification codes and stored in a password-protected database. Regular data verification and quality control procedures will be conducted throughout the study to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security. |
