研究目的:

以音乐经验为视角,研究人工耳蜗植入者、助听器使用者与正常听力人群的听觉神经编码差异。采用多模态神经成像技术分析数据,探究音乐经验对听损人群频率跟随反应的调控机制,判断其是否能改善听觉神经功能。捕捉听损人群在声音频率处理、神经信号同步性等方面的特异性表征,明确不同助听方式下大脑功能的适应性变化,为音乐经验干预提供基础参照。构建多模态评估理论框架,结合听觉行为学测试,筛选核心敏感指标,为临床评估听损人群的神经编码功能提供量化检测指标。依托脑数字孪生平台,构建听觉神经活动的数字化仿真模型,明确脑数字孪生技术在还原神经编码特征、模拟音乐经验干预效应、预测听觉神经功能改善趋势中的核心作用,为听觉神经机制研究及干预方案优化提供数字化工具支撑。  

Objectives of Study:

From the perspective of musical experience, this study investigates the differences in auditory neural coding among cochlear implant recipients, hearing aid users, and individuals with normal hearing. The data is analyzed using multimodal neuroimaging techniques to explore the regulatory mechanism of music experience on the frequency-following responses of hearing-impaired individuals and to determine whether it can improve auditory neural function. Specific characteristics in sound frequency processing and neural signal synchrony of hearing-impaired individuals are captured, and adaptive changes in brain functions under different hearing assistance methods are clarified, providing a basis for music experience intervention. A multimodal assessment theoretical framework is constructed, combined with auditory behavioral tests, to select core sensitive indicators, providing quantitative detection indicators for clinical assessment of the neural coding function of hearing-impaired individuals. Relying on the brain digital twin platform, a digital simulation model of auditory neural activity is constructed to clarify the core role of brain digital twin technology in restoring neural coding features, simulating the effects of music experience intervention, and predicting the trend of improvement in auditory neural function, providing digital tool support for auditory neural mechanism research and intervention scheme optimization.

Inclusion criteria

排除标准:

1.有神经系统疾病(中风、癫痫、帕金森等)与精神疾病(抑郁症、焦虑症等)以及左利手;
2.其他非声调语言使用者;
3.助听设备使用不规范,每日佩戴小于4小时,常间断佩戴或自行频繁调机;
4.助听器与人工耳蜗组的听力损失时长超过2年且非双侧助听后听力水平不对称;
5.视力障碍、言语障碍无法配合测试,或测试过程中注意力不集中、配合度差;
6.耳科器质性疾病或中耳炎等;

Exclusion criteria:

1.There are neurological disorders (such as stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, etc.) and mental disorders (such as depression, anxiety disorder, etc.) as well as left-handed people;
2.Other speakers of non-tonal languages;
3.Hearing aid devices are not used properly. They are worn for less than 4 hours a day, and are often worn intermittently or frequently adjusted by oneself;
4.The duration of hearing loss in the hearing aid and cochlear implant groups exceeded 2 years, and the hearing levels were asymmetrical after non-bilateral hearing aid;
5.Those with visual or speech impairments are unable to cooperate with the test, or have difficulty concentrating and cooperating during the test;
6.Organic diseases of the ear or otitis media, etc;

To measure the frequency selectivity of the subjects for 4kHz pure tones, the absolute auditory threshold was first determined through three rounds of adaptive tests to identify the intensity of the detected sound.
