研究目的：

探讨两种微创术式，即全龈乳头保存技术（entire papilla preservation technique，EPP）或微创手术技术（minimally invasive surgical technique，MIST）联合再生材料，对牙周基础治疗后残留的牙间区域骨下袋的治疗效果。  

Objectives of Study：

This study investigates the therapeutic effects of two minimally invasive surgical techniques, namely the entire papilla preservation technique (EPP) or the minimally invasive surgical technique (MIST) combined with regenerative materials, on residual interproximal intrabony defects following periodontal initial therapy.

纳入标准：

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

1.患牙松动超过II度、预后无望或骨袋与根分叉病变相关；
2.短期内计划怀孕的妇女、孕妇、哺乳期妇女；吸烟者；
3.一壁骨缺损；骨缺损范围超越患牙邻面轴角，涉及到患牙颊或/和舌侧；
4.患牙存在不完善根管治疗或不良修复体；正接受正畸治疗；
5.患有未控制的糖尿病等影响组织愈合的全身疾病者；对再生材料过敏者；

Exclusion criteria：

1.Teeth with mobility exceeding Grade II, hopeless prognosis, or bone defects associated with furcation involvement;
2.Women planning pregnancy in the near future, pregnant women, or lactating women;Smokers;
3.One-wall intrabony defects;Bone defects extending beyond the proximal line angles of the affected tooth, involving the buccal and/or lingual aspects;
4.Teeth with inadequate endodontic treatment or poor restorations;Patients currently undergoing orthodontic treatment;
5.Patients with uncontrolled diabetes mellitus or other systemic diseases affecting tissue healing;Patients with known allergies to regenerative materials;

Under local anesthesia, a vertical incision was made on the buccal side of the adjacent tooth at the apical angle, crossing the junction of the mucosa and the gingiva. During the flap dissection, while completely preserving the gingival papilla, the bone defect should be exposed.

The gingival sulcus/periodontal pocket base to the cementoenamel junction (CEJ) was probed using UNC-15 probes. Six sites were recorded for each tooth (distobuccal, midbuccal, mesiobuccal, mesiolingual, midlingual, and distolingual). The maximum CAL value among the sites involved in the bone defect area was taken as the baseline CAL value for that defect, and the corresponding sites were similarly designated as the measurement sites for subsequent follow-up examinations.
