研究目的：

MRI检查期间的患者焦虑和沟通不良可能损害图像质量和患者体验。我们评估了CICARE（连接-介绍-沟通-询问-回应-退出）沟通协议在改善老年MRI患者体验和临床结局方面的有效性。实施CICARE协议将显著改善患者知识评分和满意度评级，次要益处包括通过改善患者配合和减少焦虑相关运动伪影来增强图像质量。  

Objectives of Study：

Patient anxiety and poor communication during MRI examinations can compromise image quality and patient experience. We evaluated the effectiveness of the CICARE (Connect-Introduce-Communicate-Ask-Respond-Exit) communication protocol in improving patient experience and clinical outcomes among elderly MRI patients. that implementation of the CICARE protocol would significantly improve patient knowledge scores and satisfaction ratings compared to standard care, with secondary benefits including enhanced image quality through improved patient cooperation and reduced anxiety-related motion artifacts. Additionally, we anticipated that patient knowledge acquisition would serve as a key mediator in the relationship between communication intervention and clinical outcomes, providing insights into the mechanisms underlying effective patient-provider communication in radiology settings.

纳入标准：

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

1.以下情况的患者被排除： (1) 严重认知障碍或痴呆（简易精神状态检查评分<24）； (2) 严重听力障碍妨碍有效沟通； (3) 急诊MRI检查； (4) 曾参与沟通培训研究； (5) 因语言障碍或识字限制无法完成问卷； (6) 需要镇静的幽闭恐惧症。

Exclusion criteria：

1.Patients were excluded if they had: (1) severe cognitive impairment or dementia (Mini-Mental State Examination score <24); (2) severe hearing impairment preventing effective communication; (3) emergency MRI examinations; (4) previous participation in communication training studies; (5) inability to complete questionnaires due to language barriers or literacy limitations; (6) claustrophobia requiring sedation.
