Objectives of Study：

To evaluate the application effect of the intervention program centered on Square-Stepping Exercise for Demoralization Syndrome among the elderly in nursing homes.

纳入标准：

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

1. 有严重视力、听力障碍或沟通困难者； 2. 有严重心、脑、肺、血管、肝肾、骨骼肌肉疾病或其他运动禁忌症； 3. 近6个月内有骨折史； 4. 存在认知或精神障碍者； 5. 近期有参加其他运动或心理相关干预。

Exclusion criteria：

1. Those with severe visual, auditory impairments or communication difficulties; 2. Those with severe heart, brain, lung, vascular, liver, kidney, bone and muscle diseases or other contraindications for exercise; 3. Those with a history of fractures within the past six months; 4. Those with cognitive or mental disorders; 5. Those who have recently participated in other physical or psychological intervention programs.

随机方法（请说明由何人用什么方法产生随机序列）：

由一名不直接参与本研究的工作人员在Research Randomizer网站上进行随机化分组，按照1:1的比例随机分配到干预组和对照组。将随机数字记录在空白纸上，放进不透光的信封里并密封，由该工作人员妥善保管，信封编号即为研究对象的入组顺序。通过纳入排除标准进行研究对象的筛选后，按照入组顺序依次打开信封，严格按照分配结果实施干预。

Randomization Procedure (please state who generates the random number sequence and by what method)：

Randomization was performed by a staff member who was not directly involved in this study via the Research Randomizer website, with participants randomly assigned to the intervention group and the control group at a 1:1 ratio. The random numbers were recorded on blank paper, placed in opaque envelopes and sealed, which were then properly kept by the aforementioned staff member. The envelope numbers corresponded to the enrollment sequence of the study participants. After screening participants against the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the envelopes were opened sequentially according to the enrollment order, and the intervention was implemented strictly in accordance with the allocation results.
