研究目的：

本课题拟通过以医院为基础的大样本的戊型肝炎患者（包括有慢性乙肝基础重叠感染戊型肝炎病毒患者和没有慢性乙肝基础的戊型肝炎患者）队列数据，筛选出哪些高危因素与戊型肝炎患者发生肝衰竭有关，明确发生肝衰竭的风险因素；通过统计分析风险因素，构建一个简便、实用、预测效能较好的预测模型，通过回顾性队列和前瞻性多中心队列，对预测模型进行内部验证与评价以及外部验证与评价，明确预测模型的效能。 希望通过该模型能精准预测出戊型肝炎患者发生肝衰竭的高危人群，为高危人群的早期预警、精准防治及优化治疗管理干预方案提供帮助，使得更多基层医疗卫生人员能够全面了解和重视戊肝病毒的筛查与诊治，提高戊型肝炎诊疗水平，从而进一步阻止或延缓疾病进展、改善患者预后，降低疾病危害与疾病负担，最终为病毒性肝炎的防控提供一些科学依据和理论支撑。  

Objectives of Study：

This hospital-based study aims to identify high-risk factors associated with the development of liver failure in patients with hepatitis E virus (HEV) infection, utilizing a large cohort dataset. This cohort will include both HEV-infected patients with underlying chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) co-infection and those without chronic HBV infection.Through statistical analysis of the identified risk factors, we will construct a simple, practical, and effective prediction model for liver failure. The predictive performance of this model will be rigorously assessed through internal validation and evaluation using retrospective cohort data, followed by external validation and evaluation using a prospective, multi-center cohort.It is anticipated that this model will enable the precise prediction of HEV-infected patients at high risk for developing liver failure. This will facilitate early warning, targeted prevention, and optimized treatment management strategies for high-risk individuals. Furthermore, the study aims to enhance the understanding and emphasis on HEV screening, diagnosis, and treatment among primary healthcare professionals, thereby improving the overall standard of HEV clinical management. Ultimately, this will help to prevent or delay disease progression, improve patient prognosis, reduce the burden and harm caused by the disease, and provide scientific evidence and theoretical support for the prevention and control of viral hepatitis.

1.免疫抑制患者（如肝移植术后患者、长期服用免疫抑制剂者）；
2.基线特征和化验检查临床数据资料不全者；
3.病情预后结局不详者；

1.Immunosuppressed patients (e.g., post-liver transplant recipients, those on long-term immunosuppressants);
2.Patients with incomplete baseline characteristics and laboratory test clinical data;
3.Patients with unknown disease prognosis or outcome;
