研究目的：

乳腺癌（BC）是女性癌症死亡的首要原因，亟待发现新的特异性生物标志物或靶点，用于BC的早期诊断及靶向治疗。胆碱脱氢酶（CHDH）被报道在代谢紊乱疾病以及肿瘤进展方面具有重要作用。前期我们发现CHDH高表达于乳腺癌组织中，CHDH表达变化可能影响乳腺癌的增殖、凋亡及转移进而促进乳腺癌进展，但其具体的功能及分子机制未有研究报道。为此，本课题将首先探究CHDH在乳腺癌不同阶段病例组织中的表达变化；然后分别在体外探究CHDH表达变化对乳腺癌增殖、凋亡及转移的影响，并阐明其分子机制；并在小鼠体内（异种移植模型）验证CHDH表达变化对乳腺癌进展的作用及机制。旨在为乳腺癌的治疗提供新的靶点及治疗策略。  

Objectives of Study：

Breast cancer (BC) is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women, creating an urgent need to identify novel specific biomarkers or targets for early diagnosis and targeted therapy. Choline dehydrogenase (CHDH) has been reported to play important roles in metabolic disorders and tumor progression. We previously observed high CHDH expression in breast cancer tissues, and changes in its expression may influence breast cancer proliferation, apoptosis, and metastasis, thereby promoting disease progression. However, the specific functions and underlying molecular mechanisms of CHDH in this context remain unelucidated. Therefore, this project will first investigate the expression changes of CHDH in breast cancer tissues at different stages. Subsequently, we will examine the effects of altered CHDH expression on breast cancer cell proliferation, apoptosis, and metastasis in vitro, and elucidate the associated molecular mechanisms. These findings will be further validated in a mouse xenograft model to assess the role and mechanism of CHDH in breast cancer progression in vivo. This study aims to provide new targets and therapeutic strategies for the treatment of breast cancer.
