研究目的:

视障患者由于缺乏对自身口腔卫生状况的直观感受,往往难以实现良好的口腔卫生维护,其罹患龋病和牙周病的风险随之增加。目前,我国口腔医学领域对这类人群的关注度不高。本项目拟通过评估强化ATP宣教对于视障学生的影响,为这类人群口腔健康的维护提供指导,也有利于提高社会对视障患者口腔健康问题的重视,有助于提高视障患者的生活质量,减轻家庭和社会的经济负担。  

Objectives of Study:

Visually impaired individuals often struggle to maintain good oral hygiene due to the lack of a direct, visual understanding of their own oral health status. This leads to an increased risk of developing dental caries and periodontal diseases. Currently, there is insufficient focus on this demographic within the field of dentistry in China. This project aims to evaluate the impact of enhanced Audio-Tactile-Performance (ATP) oral health education on visually impaired students. The findings are expected to provide guidance for improving the oral health of this population, raise societal awareness regarding their oral care needs, contribute to an enhanced quality of life for them, and help alleviate the associated economic burden on families and society.

Inclusion criteria

排除标准:

1.存在部分视力障碍/单眼盲 2.患有其他合并疾病 3.无法获得患者配合 4.未获得监护人同意

Exclusion criteria:

1.Partial visual impairment/unilateral blindness; 2. Presence of other comorbid diseases; 3.Failure to obtain patient cooperation; 4.Lack of consent from the guardian.

ATP组包含以下内容: 应用场景一:学习牙齿解剖 研究工具:集成触觉传感器的大尺寸、高精度3D打印牙齿/牙弓模型。 ATP实施方案: (1) 触觉反馈:学生通过触摸模型,感知切牙、尖牙和磨牙的不同形态与质地。牙龈、牙齿及牙间隙采用不同材料或纹理设计。 (2) 音频反馈:当学生触摸特定区域(如“第一磨牙”)时,传感器触发对应语音解说:“这是第一磨牙,它拥有宽阔的咬合面,用于研磨食物。” 应用场景二:学习巴氏刷牙法 研究工具:配备运动传感器和振动电机的智能牙刷柄,与3D牙弓模型配合使用。 ATP实施方案: (1) 语音引导:系统提供语音指导:“现在,我们将清洁右上后牙区。请将牙刷头放置在牙齿与牙龈的交界处。” (2) 触觉反馈:当牙刷与牙齿模型形成正确的45度角时,刷柄产生温和的持续振动,提示“角度正确”。若角度错误,振动停止或改变模式。若施加过大压力可能损伤牙龈时,刷柄会产生强烈的快速振动作为警告。结合模型上的传感器,当牙刷移动至下一个需清洁区域时,系统会发出声音提示。 应用场景三:学习牙线使用技巧 研究工具:具有加宽牙间隙和模拟牙龈的牙齿模型。 ATP实施方案: (1) 语音引导:“取一段牙线…将其绕成C形环抱牙齿…轻轻滑入牙龈沟…” (2) 触觉感知:通过亲手操作,学生体验牙线如何环绕牙面并滑入牙缝。模型设计能让学生清晰感知牙线接触牙齿表面的触感。

Intervention:

The ATP group includes the following content: Application Scenario 1: Learning Dental Anatomy Research Tool: Large-scale, high-precision 3D-printed tooth/dental arch models integrated with touch sensors. ATP Implementation: (1) Haptic Feedback: Students tactilely explore the models to perceive the distinct shapes and textures of incisors, canines, and molars. The gingiva, teeth, and interdental spaces are designed with different materials or textures. (2) Audio Feedback: When a student touches a specific area (e.g., "first molar"), the sensor triggers corresponding audio explanation: "This is the first molar, which has a broad occlusal surface for grinding food." Application Scenario 2: Learning the Bass Brushing Technique Research Tool: A smart toothbrush handle equipped with motion sensors and vibration motors, used in conjunction with a 3D dental arch model. ATP Implementation: (1) Audio Guidance: The system provides verbal instructions: "Now, we will clean the posterior teeth on the upper right side. Please position the toothbrush at the junction between the teeth and gingiva." (2) Haptic Feedback: When the correct 45-degree angle between the toothbrush and the dental model is achieved, the handle emits a mild, continuous vibration to indicate "correct angle." If the angle is incorrect, the vibration ceases or changes pattern. If excessive pressure is applied, which may harm the gingiva, the handle produces a strong, rapid vibration as a warning. Combined with sensors on the model, the system emits an audible prompt when the brush moves to the next area requiring cleaning. Application Scenario 3: Learning Dental Flossing Techniques Research Tool: A dental model with widened interdental spaces and simulated gingiva. ATP Implementation: (1) Audio Guidance: "Take a segment of dental floss... curve it into a C-shape around the tooth... gently slide it into the gingival sulcus..." (2) Haptic Perception: Through hands-on manipulation, students experience how the floss wraps around the tooth surface and glides into the interdental space. The model design enables students to clearly perceive the tactile sensation of the floss contacting the tooth surface.
