本研究旨在评估不同双任务范式对肌少症老年人姿势控制、认知功能及步态表现的影响,以揭示该范式在促进老年人群功能康复中的潜在机制。具体而言,本研究将重点考察不同双任务对肌少症老年人静态姿势控制(如站立平衡时的重心偏移)和动态姿势控制(如行走时的稳定性和步态表现)的影响;同时结合功能性近红外光谱神经影像学技术,分析双任务干扰对大脑皮层激活的调控,特别是前额叶和运动皮层区域的血氧水平变化以阐明姿势-认知双重任务的神经生理基础。通过比较肌少症组与健康老年人组的双任务表现,为肌少症老年人跌倒预防和康复干预提供神经行为学证据,支持开发针对性双任务训练方案以提升姿势稳定性预防肌少症老年人跌倒。  

Objectives of Study:

This study aims to evaluate the effects of different dual-task paradigms on postural control, cognitive function, and gait performance in older adults with sarcopenia, elucidating their potential mechanisms in promoting functional rehabilitation. It will examine static postural control (e.g., center of pressure displacement during standing balance) and dynamic postural control (e.g., stability and gait performance during walking), while using functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) to analyze cortical activation, particularly oxygenated hemoglobin changes in the prefrontal and motor cortex, to clarify the neurophysiological basis of posture-cognition dual-task performance. By comparing dual-task outcomes between sarcopenic and healthy older adults, the study seeks to provide neurobehavioral evidence for fall prevention and rehabilitation, supporting the development of targeted dual-task training to enhance postural stability and reduce fall risk in older adults with sarcopenia.

Inclusion criteria

排除标准:

1.患有严重的心脏、内分泌系统、呼吸系统、脑部或血管疾病,或患有晚期癌症、肿瘤等严重疾病; 2.被确诊患有精神疾病、认知功能障碍、身体残疾,或因受伤、手术、肢体问题导致身体状况异常持续近三个月; 3.因前庭功能疾病(如前庭神经炎)、视觉功能障碍(如青光眼、黄斑变性等)或中枢前庭病变等导致姿势控制能力受损; 4.体内植入人工关节、心脏起搏器或其他金属设备; 5.简易精神状态检查量表根据受试者文化程度采用不同截断值:文盲≥17分、小学≥20分、中学或以上≥24分

Exclusion criteria:

1.Presence of severe cardiovascular, endocrine, respiratory, neurological, or vascular diseases, or advanced cancer, tumors, or other serious illnesses. 2.Diagnosed with psychiatric disorders, cognitive impairments, physical disabilities, or abnormal physical conditions persisting for nearly three months due to injury, surgery, or limb-related issues. 3. Impaired postural control due to vestibular disorders (e.g., vestibular neuritis), visual impairments (e.g., glaucoma, macular degeneration), or central vestibular lesions. 4.Presence of artificial joints, cardiac pacemakers, or other metal implants. 5.The Simplified Mental Status Examination Scale uses education-based cutoff values: ≥17 for illiterate, ≥20 for primary school, and ≥24 for secondary school or above.

A 30-second rest was taken to collect baseline data before the start of each task, during which participants were instructed to stand naturally and relax. The tasks were synchronized at the beginning, and the start and end of each task were marked, with the end of each task corresponding to the start of the rest period. For each task, three sets of valid data were collected.
