研究目的：

随着全球老龄化现象的加剧，老年患者经历手术的比例越来越高，近期有大量研究证明，术前认知功能损伤可以预测老年患者术后死亡率。因此，本研究的目的是术前通过Mini-Cog和Katz Index分别筛查患者认知功能和功能依赖状态，探讨认知功能状态和功能依赖状态是否可以预测老年患者的术后死亡率和严重并发症。  

Objectives of Study：

The number of surgical procedures performed on elderly patients has been greatly increasing in the last decades, due to growing aging population. And previous studies suggested that the cognitive ability and dependency in daily living may predict mortality. This study aimed to evaluate whether cognitive impairment(CI) as assessed by the Mini-Cog and the dependent status determined by the Katz index of activity of daily living (Katz ADL) are associated with all-cause 1-year mortality risk in the elderly patient undergoing elective surgery with general anesthesia.

纳入标准：

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

1．脑血管疾病患者
2．中枢神经系统疾病患者
3．正在使用精神类药品治疗
4．酒精或阿片类药物滥用史
5．入选研究前3月服用了其他试验药或者是参与了其他临床试验
6．拒绝评估Mini-Cog和Katz Index的患者
7．预计手术时间小于120分钟

Exclusion criteria：

1. Patients with cerebrovascular disease;
2. Patients with central nervous system disease;
3. Psychotropic medications are being used;
4. History of alcohol or opioid abuse;
5. Other trials were taken in the first three months of the study or other clinical trials;
6. Patients who declined to assess the mini-cog and Katz Index;
7. Surgery is expected to be less than 120 minutes.
