研究目的:

提升早期食管癌的诊断能力:通过开发基于人工智能的超声内镜系统,自动识别食管早癌病变,并判断食管癌浸润深度,确保早期发现并提高临床诊断的准确性。 优化食管黏膜下隆起病变的识别:实现对平滑肌瘤和间质瘤的自动识别,提供病变的详细特征分析,以便于医生做出精准判断。 实现自动化的诊断流程:通过智能算法实现病变的自动边缘勾勒、大小测量和起源层次报告,减少医生的工作负担,提高诊断效率。 增强临床决策支持:为医生提供全面、准确的诊断报告,促进个性化治疗方案的制定,从而改善患者的预后。 推动人工智能在医学影像中的应用:为超声内镜领域的智能化发展奠定基础,探索AI技术在其他医学领域的广泛应用潜力。  

Objectives of Study:

Improving the diagnosis of early esophageal cancer: developing an artificial intelligence-based ultrasound endoscopy system to automatically identify early esophageal cancer lesions and assess the depth of tumor invasion, ensuring early detection and enhancing the accuracy of clinical diagnosis. Optimizing the identification of submucosal protrusions in the esophagus: achieving automatic recognition of leiomyomas and gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs), and providing detailed feature analysis of the lesions to facilitate precise decision-making by physicians. Implementing an automated diagnostic workflow: By leveraging intelligent algorithms, we can achieve automatic lesion edge delineation, size measurement, and reporting of the origin of lesions. This reduces the workload of doctors and enhances diagnostic efficiency. Enhancing clinical decision support: Providing doctors with comprehensive and accurate diagnostic reports to facilitate the development of personalized treatment plans, thereby improving patient outcomes. Promoting the application of artificial intelligence in medical imaging: Laying the foundation for the intelligent development of the field of endoscopic ultrasound and exploring the potential for the widespread application of AI technologies in other medical fields.

Inclusion criteria

排除标准:

1. 合并其他重大疾病:如严重心肺疾病、无法耐受内镜检查的患者。 2. 已接受相关治疗:如已进行手术、放疗或化疗的患者。 3. 不适合超声内镜检查:如有明显的食管狭窄或穿孔风险的患者。 4. 心理或精神障碍:影响患者理解和配合研究的患者。

Exclusion criteria:

Concurrent Serious Diseases: Patients with severe cardiopulmonary diseases or those unable to tolerate endoscopy. Prior Treatment: Patients who have already undergone surgery, radiotherapy, or chemotherapy. Unsuitable for Endoscopic Ultrasound: Patients with significant esophageal stenosis or risk of perforation. Psychological or Mental Disorders: Patients with conditions that affect their ability to understand and cooperate with the study.

Patients with pathological diagnoses of esophageal cancer, esophageal leiomyoma, or esophageal gastrointestinal stromal tumor.

Population with condition difficult to distinguish from the target condition, the normal population in a case-control study design should be avoid:

Patients with gastrointestinal submucosal lesions other than gastrointestinal stromal tumors and leiomyomas (such as neuroendocrine tumors, ectopic pancreas, lipomas), as well as patients with esophageal cancer of different depths of invasion.
