Objectives of Study: |
Microglial activation is a central pathological hallmark of Parkinson's disease (PD). Microglia switch metabolism from oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) toward glycolysis upon pro-inflammatory activation. Glycolysis-drived lactylate accumulation contributed to the development and progression of PD. However, the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. This work demonstrated a lactate/Dld-K127/pyruvate positive feedback loop that drived DA neuronal damage in "metabolism - epigenetic" level and suggested that suppressing this vicious feedback circle as a promising therapeutic target for PD |

排除标准: |
HCs排除标准:(1)患有焦虑、抑郁等严重精神类疾病;(2)MMSE评分<24分。PD患者排除标准:(1)药物诱发的帕金森综合征、多系统萎缩、血管源性帕金森综合征等其他神经系统疾病;(2)有严重精神分裂等精神疾病;(3)合并颅内器质性病变或颅脑损伤;(4)合并心脏、肝脏、肾脏等器质性病变。 |

Exclusion criteria: |
Exclusion criteria for HCs: (1) Suffering from severe mental illnesses such as anxiety and depression; (2) MMSE score<24 points. Exclusion criteria for PD patients:(1) Drug induced Parkinson's syndrome, multiple system atrophy, vascular Parkinson's syndrome, and other neurological disorders; (2) Having serious mental illnesses such as schizophrenia; (3) Combined intracranial organic lesions or traumatic brain injury; (4) Merge organic lesions such as heart, liver, and kidney. |
