研究目的：

本项目拟建立口呼吸儿童前瞻性研究队列，以同龄鼻呼吸正常儿童为对照组，观察口呼吸对儿童咀嚼功能和牙颌面生长发育的影响，研究导致咀嚼功能降低的牙颌面形态机制以及适时适度正畸干预的疗效机制，提高人群对儿童口呼吸危害的认知，形成系统性适宜正畸技术并推广。  

Objectives of Study：

This project intends to establish a prospective study cohort of children with oral breathing, taking children with normal nasal breathing of the same age as the control group, to observe the effects of oral breathing on children's chewing function and the growth and development of teeth and maxillofacial features, and to study the morphological mechanism of teeth and maxillofacial features leading to decreased chewing function and the therapeutic mechanism of timely and moderate orthodontic intervention, so as to improve the population's awareness of the hazards of oral breathing in children. Form systematic and appropriate orthodontic technology and promote it.

纳入标准：

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

1.临床诊断为睡眠呼吸暂停； 2.牙列不完整，双侧后牙区咀嚼功能单元缺失一对以上； 3.有吮指、咬唇、吐舌等不良口腔习惯者； 4.先天性面部发育异常者（唇腭裂等）； 5.直系亲属中有与患者相同骨骼型者(家族错颌畸形遗传倾向)； 6.遗传、外伤等所致下颌骨长度异常； 7.正畸治疗史。

Exclusion criteria：

1.The clinical diagnosis was OSA; 2.The dentition is incomplete, and more than one pair of masticatory functional units in bilateral posterior dental regions are missing; 3.with bad oral habits such as finger sucking, lip biting and tongue spitting; 4.Congenital facial abnormalities (cleft lip and palate, etc.); 5.Immediate family members with the same bone type as the patient (family genetic predisposition to malocclusion); 6.Abnormal mandibular length due to heredity or trauma; 7.History of orthodontic treatment.
