To evaluate the efficacy and safety of concentrated black tomato pulp for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia

纳入标准：

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

1. 同时合并其他泌尿系疾病，如膀胱癌、神经源性膀胱、膀胱颈硬化、尿道狭窄、严重的膀胱憩室、尿路感染等；2. 确诊或怀疑患有前列腺癌；3. 有前列腺手术史或前列腺有创治疗史；4. 研究开始前3个月内有急性尿潴留病史；5. 严重的心血管或肺部疾病、直立性低血压、严重的肝脏或肾功能不全、胰岛素依赖性糖尿病；6. 患有老年痴呆或其他神经、精神障碍疾病患者；7. 已知对α1受体阻滞剂或番茄食品过敏；8. 同时服用可能改变排尿状况药物的患者。

Exclusion criteria：

1. patients with concomitant urological diseases, such as bladder cancer, neurogenic bladder, bladder neck sclerosis, urethral stricture, severe vesical diverticulum, urinary tract infection and so on;
2. diagnosed or suspected prostate cancer;
3. previous prostate surgery or invasive BPH treatments;
4. history of acute urinary retention within 3 months prior to this study;
5. history of severe cardiovascular disorders or pulmonary diseases, orthostatic hypotension, severe hepatic or renal dysfunction, insulin-dependent diabetes;
6. patients with senile dementia or other neurological or mental disorders;
7. known hypersensitivity to α1-blockers or tomato products;
8. patients taking concomitant medications that might alter voiding patterns.
