研究目的：

进食障碍目前病因未明，缺乏有效干预手段，背后的大脑工作机制不详。进食障碍的不同诊断亚型，随着时间的推移可能发生转化。有不少神经性厌食的人群随着病程的发展转变为神经性贪食，不同类型进食障碍患者有共通的临床及心理特征。因此，对进食障碍的研究，最好纳入不同诊断亚型的随访数据，了解其背后的大脑结构及功能机制，将对我们了解疾病有重要意义，并对将来的治疗靶点有重要参考性。但截至目前，针对进食障碍的研究样本量普遍较小，且局限于基线数据，未与临床指标做出关联，限制了研究结果的推广性和普适性。因此，本研究针对此临床与科学困境，提出了两个科学问题：首先，进食障碍患者脑结构损害与BMI的相关关系是什么，随着BMI的恢复，脑结构纵向如何改变？其次，脑结构的损害及纵向改变，与临床指标之间有何关联，与进食及代谢相关的遗传风险位点，及与疾病相关的环境风险因素，在这个过程中起到了什么作用？针对以上两个科学问题，本研究首要研究目的是探讨大脑结构损害与BMI变化之间的关系；次要研究目的是通过分析遗传风险与环境因素在疾病中的作用，我们期望明确进食障碍患者脑部结构和功能的变化及其与临床症状的关联。  

Objectives of Study：

Eating disorders have unidentified causes, lack effective interventions, and their underlying neural mechanisms are poorly understood. Diagnostic subtypes of eating disorders may evolve over time. Many individuals with anorexia nervosa progress to bulimia nervosa, and patients with different eating disorders share clinical and psychological traits. Research on eating disorders should ideally include longitudinal data across diagnostic subtypes to elucidate the brain's structure and functional mechanisms, which is crucial for disease understanding and identifying therapeutic targets. This study addresses two scientific questions: First, what is the relationship between brain structural damage in eating disorder patients and BMI, and how does brain structure change longitudinally with BMI recovery? Second, how are brain structural damage and changes related to clinical indicators, and what roles do genetic risk loci associated with eating and metabolism and environmental risk factors related to the disease play in this process? The primary aim of this study is to investigate the link between brain structural damage and BMI changes; the secondary aim is to determine the alterations in brain structure and function in eating disorder patients and their correlation with clinical symptoms by analyzing the impact of genetic and environmental factors in the disease.

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

1.患有严重躯体疾病（如糖尿病、中风、肿瘤、或神经退行性疾病等），或因严重疾病（与精神健康问题无关）而大量服药的患者；
2.存在显著影响患者目前精神状态的其它精神障碍（精神发育迟滞等）；
3.妊娠；

Exclusion criteria：

1.Patients with severe somatic diseases (such as diabetes, stroke, tumors, or neurodegenerative diseases, etc.), or those who take a large amount of medication due to serious illnesses (unrelated to mental health issues).
2.There are other mental disorders that significantly affect the patient's current mental state (such as intellectual disability).
3.Pregnancy.

数据采集和管理（说明：数据采集和管理由两部分组成，一为病例记录表(Case Record Form, CRF)，二为电子采集和管理系统(Electronic Data Capture, EDC)，如ResMan即为一种基于互联网的EDC：

数据采集：本研究设置基线（观察起点）、4周及6个月（观察终点）三个随访点；在基线，收集临床信息、影像学数据、遗传学数据；在4周，对所有受试者收集临床信息，对至少120例受试者收集影像学数据，其他数据不做强制要求，如有研究需求可收集；在6个月，收集患者的临床信息（可电话随访）。主要结局指标为：与BMI变化密切关联的大脑结构损害。 数据管理：在去除个人识别信息后，将个人资料及数据存放于北京大学卫健委精神卫生学重点实验室，由专人负责管理与维护，确保数据安全和隐私保护。生物样本保存在北京大学第六医院生物样本库，严格遵守数据保密和使用规定。

Data collection and Management (A standard data collection and management system include a CRF and an electronic data capture：

Data Collection: This study establishes three follow-up points: baseline (observation starting point), 4 weeks, and 6 months (observation endpoint). At baseline, clinical information, imaging data, and genetic data are collected. At 4 weeks, clinical information is collected from all subjects, and imaging data is collected from at least 120 subjects; other data are not mandatorily required, but may be collected if there is research demand. At 6 months, clinical information from patients is collected (telephone follow-up is possible). The primary outcome measure is brain structural damage closely associated with changes in BMI. Data Management: After the removal of personal identification information, personal profiles and data are stored in the Key Laboratory of Mental Health, National Health Commission, Peking University, which is managed and maintained by designated personnel to ensure data security and privacy protection. Biological samples are stored in the Biobank of the Sixth Hospital of Peking University, strictly adhering to data confidentiality and usage regulations.
