Oral squamous-cell carcinoma is one of the most common malignant tumors of the head and neck with high morbidity and mortality. There are 500,000 new cases and 140,000 deaths worldwide each year. It usually involves the front two-thirds of the tongue, the gums, the floor of the mouth, the buccal mucosa, the hard palate, and the posterior triangle of the molars. 研究目的:

(1)在癌、癌旁组织、血液及唾液样本中检测以PTGDS、APOD及APOE等为代表的脂质代谢相关分子mRNA及蛋白的表达,探讨其表达与口腔鳞状细胞癌临床病理参数的相关性并分析可能存在的风险因素。 (2)分析PTGDS、APOD及APOE在口腔鳞状细胞癌的诊断及预后价值。结合影像-病理组学构建多模态融合模型,预测口腔鳞状细胞癌患者的预后,协助临床诊疗策略。 (3)探究口腔鳞状细胞癌患者手术前后血清、唾液中PTGDS、APOD及APOE的表达情况,增强其作为诊断标志物这一结论的可靠性。 (4)研究将进一步筛选相关的生物标志物及组学分析方法,用于后续研究。本项目病例及标本的收集亦作为本课题组同类研究的标本库来源,检测指标包括但不限于以上所列项目。  

Objectives of Study:

(1) to detect the mRNA and protein expression of lipid metabolism related molecules, such as PTGDS, APOD and Apoe, in cancer, para-cancer tissues, blood and saliva samples, to investigate the relationship between the expression and clinicopathological parameters of oral squamous-cell carcinoma and analyze the possible risk factors. (2) to analyze the diagnostic and prognostic value of PTGDS, APOD and APOE in oral squamous-cell carcinoma. A multi-modality fusion model was constructed to predict the prognosis of patients with oral squamous-cell carcinoma and to assist clinical diagnosis and treatment strategies. (3) to investigate the expression of PTGDS, APOD and APOE in serum and saliva of patients with oral squamous-cell carcinoma before and after operation, and to enhance the reliability of the diagnosis. (4) the study will further screen relevant biomarkers and omics analysis methods for follow-up study. The collection of cases and specimens in this project is also the source of the specimen bank for the same kind of research in this subject group. The detection indexes include but are not limited to the items listed above.

Inclusion criteria

排除标准:

1.病例资料不完整者; (2)既往接受过原发部位手术、放疗、化疗及靶向治疗等抗肿瘤治疗; (3)同时诊断有其他恶性肿瘤患者; (4)急性感染性疾病; (5)合并自身免疫性疾病或内分泌疾病、如甲状腺功能异常、肾上腺皮质功能亢进、多囊卵巢综合征等; (6)严重的肝肾功能障碍; (7)口腔内同时伴有其他确定的黏膜病者; (8)妊娠、哺乳期患者。

Exclusion criteria:

1. incomplete case data;
2.(2) having received anti-tumor therapy including primary site surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and targeted therapy;
3.(3) patients with other malignant tumors;
4.(4) acute infectious diseases;
5.(5) autoimmune diseases or endocrine diseases, such as abnormal thyroid function, adrenal cortex and polycystic ovary syndrome;
6.(6) severe liver and kidney dysfunction;
7.(7) patients with other definite mucosal diseases in the oral cavity;
8.(8) patients with pregnancy and lactation.
