研究目的:

原發性脊柱側彎(Idiopathic Scoliosis)是一種脊柱和軀幹的三維結構畸形(three-dimensional deformity),通常與肌肉特性改變有關,全身震動訓練(whole-body vibration, WBV)是一種新興的運動訓練,可以提供肌肉規律性的訓練,因此本研究目的藉由此規律訓練來探究其脊柱側彎患者運動中頸部對稱性肌肉肌電圖表現。 本研究預計共收納56位受試者,28位脊柱側彎患;28位正常受試者,接受其全身震動訓練(Frequency:20Hz X amplitude:4mm),訓練前以等速肌力測試儀( Isokinetic dynamometer )測量其頸部等長肌肉收縮之屈肌與伸直肌力,並且把頸部肌肉劃分四組分為左前右前左後與右後,記錄其最大自主等長收縮(Maximal voluntary isometric contraction, MVIC),並用以表面肌電圖(sEMG)訊號作為肌電圖標準化。所有受試者接受全身震動訓練分析其頸部四組肌電圖表現,並比較常人與脊柱側彎者之四組頸部肌肉對稱性肌電圖表現,用以提供醫療人員相關治療輔助資訊。  

Objectives of Study:

Idiopathic Scoliosis is a three-dimensional deformity of the spine and trunk, usually related to changes in muscle properties. Whole-body vibration training (WBV) is an emerging Exercise training can provide regular muscle training, so the purpose of this study is to use this regular training to explore the electromyography performance of neck symmetrical muscles in patients with scoliosis during exercise. This study is expected to include a total of 56 subjects, 28 scoliosis patients and 28 normal subjects, who will receive whole-body vibration training (Frequency: 20Hz X amplitude: 4mm). Before training, use an isokinetic muscle strength tester ( Isokinetic dynamometer) measures the flexor and extensor strength of the isometric muscle contraction of the neck, and divides the neck muscles into four groups: left front, right front, left back and right back, and records the maximum voluntary isometric contraction (Maximal voluntary isometric contraction , MVIC), and used surface electromyography (sEMG) signals as EMG normalization. All subjects underwent whole-body vibration training to analyze the electromyographic performance of four groups of neck muscles, and compare the symmetrical electromyographic performance of the four groups of neck muscles between normal people and scoliosis patients to provide medical personnel with relevant treatment auxiliary information.

Inclusion criteria

排除标准:

排除條件為:(1)非原發性之脊柱側彎患者;(2)年齡小於20歲的原發性脊柱側彎患者;(3)曾接受手術或正在穿著脊椎矯正背架之患者;(4)合併有其他神經系統疾病;(5)合併有四肢骨骼或關節畸形;(6)有前庭系統相關疾病者;(7)無法配合口令執行動作者。控制組則為年齡與性別配對之健康受試者,且若有脊柱側彎患者排除條件之4.5.6.7點也將排除於本實驗。

Exclusion criteria:

Exclusion conditions are: (1) patients with non-idiopathic scoliosis; (2) patients with primary scoliosis who are younger than 20 years old; (3) patients who have undergone surgery or are wearing a spinal brace; ( 4) Those with other neurological diseases; (5) Those with limb bone or joint deformities; (6) Those with vestibular system-related diseases; (7) Those who are unable to cooperate with commands to perform actions. The control group is healthy subjects matched by age and gender, and patients with scoliosis will also be excluded from this experiment if they meet the exclusion criteria 4.5.6.7.
