研究目的：

本研究目的就是比較全靜脈麻醉和吸入性麻醉Desflurane對肝臟移植手術中之細胞激素、氧化壓力、基質金屬蛋白酶之不同，並比較兩者拔除氣管內管時間、加護病房停留時間及住院天數等預後。  

Objectives of Study：

We tested the hypothesis that patients who receive propofol-based total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA) exhibited reduced levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), and elevated levels of ant-inflammatory cytokines and heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) compared with patients receiving desflurane (DES) anesthesia in liver transplant recipients.

纳入标准：

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

敗血症，休克，肝腦病變，肝腎綜合徵或大量胸腔積液存在，移植前已氣管插管且需機械通氣輔助，移植前已使用血管加壓藥物或禁忌使用芬太尼，異丙酚或地氟烷。

Exclusion criteria：

Recipients were excluded if they met any of the following criteria: presence of sepsis, shock, hepatoencephalopathy, hepatorenal syndrome, or massive pleural effusion, requirements for pre-transplant endotracheal intubation with mechanical ventilation, or use of vasopressors before transplantation, and any contraindication to fentanyl, propofol, or desflurane.
