研究目的：

建立华南地区以家庭为研究单位的饥荒队列，探讨生命早期暴露饥荒对成年期心血管代谢疾病的跨代影响，不仅为生命早期营养的跨代影响提供直接人群证据，而且从生命早期营养的角度揭示了我国心血管疾病高发的原因。研究生命早期暴露饥荒与成年期膳食模式对心血管代谢的交互作用，明确何种成年期膳食模式加重饥荒暴露对心血管代谢的跨代影响，何种膳食模式可以改善这种跨代影响，为制定适合我国国情的心血管疾病膳食防控方案提供科学依据。从DNA甲基化的角度阐明生命早期暴露饥荒跨代影响成年期心血管代谢风险的表观遗传机制。明确生命早期与后期间的营养状况不匹配，及与生活方式的交互作用是导致我国代谢性疾病高发的重要原因，据此建立代谢性疾病的全生命周期防控体系。

Objectives of Study：

To establish a famine cohort with families as a research unit in South China , and to explore the intergenerational effects of early-life exposure to famine on adult cardiometabolic risk factors. This not only provides direct population evidence for intergenerational effects of early-life nutrition, but also reveals the reasons for the high incidence of cardiovascular diseases in China. To study the interaction between early life exposure to famine and dietary patterns in adulthood on cardiovascular metabolism. to clarify which dietary patterns in adulthood aggravate the transgenerational effects of famine exposure on cardiometabolic metabolism, and which dietary patterns can improve this transgenerational effect. To provide a scientific basis for formulating a dietary prevention and control program for cardiovascular diseases suitable for China national conditions. To elucidate the epigenetic mechanism by which early-life exposure to famine transgenerationally influences cardiometabolic risk in adulthood from the perspective of DNA methylation. To clarify that nutritional status mismatch between early and late life and the interaction with lifestyle are important reasons for the high incidence of metabolic diseases in China, and a life cycle prevention and control system for metabolic diseases should be established accordingly.
