To assess the utility of mobile phone applications in improving self-management practices, medication adherence, and quality of life in patients with type 2 diabetes.  

Objectives of Study：

To assess the utility of mobile phone applications in improving self-management practices, medication adherence, and quality of life in patients with type 2 diabetes.

The intervention instrument is a mobile application that was selected after testing the top 5 self-reporting applications by health care providers. This application is used to record health-related data of patients with type 2 diabetes.

纳入标准：

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

1. Patients who are unable to make their own medical decisions i.e., patients with a low level of mobility, and very young patients; 2. Patients who are unable to use mobile phone applications efficiently.

Exclusion criteria：
