Objectives of Study：

To investigate the effect of antidepressant treatment on gut microbiota and metabolites in patients with depression.

纳入标准：

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

1.其他精神障碍(如双相情感障碍、精神分裂症或分裂情感障碍)；
2.严重的身体疾病(如肿瘤、心脏病、器质性脑疾病、肝脏疾病、肾脏疾病)；
3.急、慢性感染、过敏或自身免疫性疾病；
4.过去6周内使用过抗生素、皮质类固醇或抗炎药；
5.妇女在孕期或者产褥期；
6.精神活性物质滥用/依赖的诊断，包括酒精、烟草或毒品；
7.在过去4周内接受过抗抑郁或抗精神病药物治疗。

Exclusion criteria：

1. Other mental disorders (such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder);
2. Serious physical disease (such as tumor, heart disease, organic brain disease, liver disease, kidney disease);
3. Acute or chronic infection, allergy or autoimmune disease;
4. Antibiotics, corticosteroids or anti-inflammatory drugs have been used in the past 6 weeks;
5. Patients during pregnancy or puerperium;
6. Diagnosis of psychoactive substance abuse/dependence, including alcohol, tobacco or drugs;
7. Received antidepressant or antipsychotic medication within the past 4 weeks.
