研究目的：

使用指脉氧饱和度和吸入氧浓度滴定机器人前列腺癌手术术中最佳PEEP，减少肺不张的发生率。  

Objectives of Study：

We hypothesized that introperativelyintraoperatively optimized positive end expiratory pressure (PEEP) can be obtained with titrating fraction of inspiratory oxygen (FiO2 ) and PEEP using pulse-oximetry and reduce incidence of atelectasis. We tested the hypothesis in the patients undergoing Robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy.

纳入标准：

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

急性或慢性呼吸系统疾病患者，包括慢性阻塞性肺疾病(COPD)和哮喘、肺动脉高压、神经肌肉疾病、术前吸空气脉搏血氧饱和度(SpO2)< 95%。

Exclusion criteria：

Patients with acute or chronic respiratory disorders including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma, pulmonary hypertension, neuromuscular disease, preoperative pulse oximetry (SpO2)<95% on room air were excluded.

Randomization was performed using a minimization randomization as previously described by statistician. Patients were stratified by age (<65 yrs vs >=65 yrs) and BMI (<24 kg m^2 vs >=24 kg m^2) to test even age and BMI distribution.
