研究目的：

本项目从耳甲-迷走神经刺激探讨治疗失眠症的临床疗效及作用机制，将为减轻失眠患者的痛苦、改善其生存质量、提高社会生产力提供新方法。

Objectives of Study：

The outcome from this project will help us to understand the mechanism of the acupuncture effectiveness and to provide scientific evidence of the therapeutic effectiveness of ta-VNS on insomnia and other diseases with low circulating melatonin level implicated.

纳入标准：

Inclusion criteria

排除标准：

1.妊娠期妇女； 2.合并有心、脑、肝、肾和造血系统严重原发性疾病者，以及急性病、传染病、恶性肿瘤患者； 3.睡眠卫生不良引起的睡眠障碍； 4.在治疗期不能按要求停服相关药物的患者。

Exclusion criteria：

1. Pregnancy;
2. Patients with severe primary diseases that involves the heart, brain, liver, kidney and hematopoietic system, or other acute diseases, contagions and malignancies;
3. Patients with sleep disorders induced by inadequate sleep hygiene;
4. Patients who cannot withdraw relevant medicines as required during the period of treatment.
