研究目的：

OSA及其代谢并发症发病率日益增高，迫切需要建立起良好的防治体系。PALM分型系统对于OSA患者个体化治疗的制定及治疗效果的预测有着重要意义。本研究拟将PALM分型应用于临床，探索其在OSA诊治流程中的可行性并进行患者治疗后的疗效评价，以期为OSA患者临床治疗决策的制定提供依据。  

Objectives of Study：

The incidence of OSA and its metabolic complications is increasing and there is an urgent need to establish a good prevention and treatment system. The PALM classification system is of great significance for the formulation of individualized treatment and the prediction of treatment effects for OSA patients. This study intends to apply PALM classification to the clinic, explore its feasibility in the OSA diagnosis and treatment process, and evaluate the efficacy of patients after treatment in order to provide a basis for the formulation of clinical treatment decisions for OSA patients.

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

 

纳入标准：

① 年龄5岁～80岁；
② 睡眠打鼾每周5天以上，睡眠时反复憋气或张口呼吸；
③ 实验室标准多导睡眠监测（polysomnography，PSG）确诊为OSA患者；
④ 自愿参加本项临床研究，同意进行随访复查，并签署知情同意书。

Inclusion criteria

1. Aged from 5 to 80 years;
2. Snoring during sleep more than 5 days a week, holding breath or breathing repeatedly during sleep;
3. Laboratory standard polysomnography (PSG) diagnosed as OSA patients;
4. Participate in this clinical study voluntarily, agree to follow-up review, and sign an informed consent form.

排除标准：

① 妊娠女性；
② 严重牙周疾病、牙齿松动、颞颌关节功能异常；上颌或下颌少于10颗牙齿的患者；
③ 乳胶过敏症（口腔矫治器含有该成分）;
④ 严重心衰或呼吸衰竭；
⑤ 严重颅脑外伤伴颅底骨折；脑昏迷；
⑥ 急性上呼吸道感染；鼻阻塞、气胸、纵隔气肿、肺大泡、颅腔积气、脑脊液鼻漏、上呼吸道乳头状瘤病毒、霉菌、梅毒、结核等特殊感染及鼻咽部狭窄、闭锁；
⑦ 研究者认为有任何不适合参加试验理由者（如有长期精神类药物使用者，有长期酗酒习惯者）。

Exclusion criteria：

1. Pregnant women;
2. Severe periodontal disease, loose teeth, abnormal temporomandibular joint function; patients with less than 10 teeth in the upper or lower jaw;
3. Latex allergy (oral appliances contain this ingredient);
4. Severe heart failure or respiratory failure;
5. Severe head injury with skull base fracture; brain coma;
6. Acute upper respiratory tract infection; nasal obstruction, pneumothorax, emphysema mediastinum, bullae, pneumocystis, cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea, upper respiratory tract papilloma virus, mold, syphilis, tuberculosis and other special infections, and nasopharyngeal stenosis and atresia;
7. The investigator believes that there is any reason not suitable for participating in the trial (such as long-term psychotropic drug users, long-term alcoholics).
