研究目的：

The purpose of this study is to analyze surgical activity of the Traumatology and Orthopedic Department in our Centre (Ramon y Cajal Hospital, Madrid, Spain) and the impact of COVID-19 in the 15 days prior to the declaration of the state of alarm when surgical activity was performed with no restrictions. Our hypothesis is that surgeries performed in our hospital during coronavirus epidemic status were affected in terms of comorbidity.  

Objectives of Study：

The purpose of this study is to analyze surgical activity of the Traumatology and Orthopedic Department in our Centre (Ramon y Cajal Hospital, Madrid, Spain) and the impact of COVID-19 in the 15 days prior to the declaration of the state of alarm when surgical activity was performed with no restrictions. We present a longitudinal retrospective study analyzing all patients admitted in our department from February 29 to March 15. Patients were either admitted from emergency room (ER) or from waiting list.
