研究目的:

目前石骨症尚无特效的治疗方法, 治疗的关键在对症治疗,主要治疗手段包括测试基因、细胞疗法、小干扰RNA方法和新型药物治疗等。本研究通过对1例良性石骨症患者及具有相似症状的近亲进行基因测序,试图寻找新的致病基因,探究其调节破骨细胞的功能机制及对骨吸收与形成的影响,从而为石骨症患者骨改建提供新的靶点,同时了解牙槽骨密度异常增高患者的牙移动机制及牙槽骨改建原理。  

Objectives of Study:

Currently, there is no specific treatment for osteopetrosis, and management focuses on symptomatic relief. Primary therapeutic approaches include genetic testing, cell therapy, small interfering RNA methods, and novel pharmacological treatments. This study involves genetic sequencing of a patient with benign osteopetrosis and her parents, aiming to identify novel pathogenic genes and investigate their functional mechanisms in regulating osteoclasts, as well as their effects on bone resorption and formation. The findings are expected to provide new targets for bone remodeling in osteopetrosis patients, while also elucidating the mechanisms of tooth movement and alveolar bone remodeling in individuals with abnormally increased alveolar bone density.

纳入标准:

1.颅骨X线表现为弥漫性硬化,骨硬化常波及脊柱、骨盆或长骨。

Inclusion criteria

1.The skull X-ray shows diffuse sclerosis, with osteosclerosis often involving the spine, pelvis, or long bones.

排除标准:

1.幼儿期发病的骨密度增高患者,发育迟缓、身材矮小、严重贫血,甚至白细胞和血小板减少,还可能伴有肝、脾或淋巴结的肿大、智力减退等全身症状;

Exclusion criteria:

1.Patients with increased bone density presenting in early childhood exhibit systemic symptoms including developmental delay, severe anemia, and hepatosplenomegaly or lymphadenopathy and so on.
