Objectives of Study: |
This study investigates whether noninvasive transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) can modulate the activity of brain regions associated with risk decision-making and self-control, thereby influencing cognitive processes in individuals who are overweight. Meanwhile, by analyzing participants’ neural responses (e.g., EEG) before and after tACS, the study aims to further explore the underlying neural mechanisms through which the stimulation exerts its effects. |

纳入标准: |
1. BMI > 25 kg/m^2; 2.右利手; 3.年龄>18周岁; 4.有意向减肥的人群; 5.无癫痫发作病史和癫痫家族史; 6.无严重躯体疾病和神经或精神类疾病史和家族史(如偏头疼、抑郁症、精神分裂症等); 7.近期没有服用药物,尤其是精神类药物(如安眠药); 8.体内无植入物(如心脏起搏器等); 9.出生以来没有出现过失去意识超过5分钟以上的情况(安眠药和非头部手术的麻醉例外); 10.没有颅脑损伤或做过头部手术(特别是开颅手术),目前头部无伤口或皮肤疾病。 |

Inclusion criteria |
1. BMI > 25 kg/m^2; 2. Right hand; 3. Age> 18 years old; 4. People who intend to lose weight; 5. No history of seizures and family history of epilepsy; 6. No history of serious physical diseases, neurological or psychiatric diseases and family history (such as migraine, depression, schizophrenia, etc.); 7. No recent medication, especially psychotropic drugs (such as sleeping pills); 8. No implants in the body (such as pacemakers, etc.); 9. Have not had a loss of consciousness for more than 5 minutes since birth (with the exception of sleeping pills and anesthesia for non-head surgery); 10. No head injury or head surgery (especially craniotomy), no wound or skin disease on the head at present. |

Exclusion criteria: |
1. Left hand; 2. Have any neurological diseases, including but not limited to epilepsy, migraine, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders or history of severe head trauma, central nervous system tumors, etc.; 3. Recently taking drugs that act on the nervous system; 4. Skin lesions or large scars on the head (the part covered by hair); 5. Pregnant and lactating women. |

The specific presentation order of stimuli in the experimental task is automatically executed by the computer system and is not subject to experimenter intervention. To minimize order effects, the stimulus sequence for each experimental condition is generated as a random sequence by calling a randomization function through a MATLAB script. |

Data collection and Management (A standard data collection and management system include a CRF and an electronic data capture: |
Data management procedures will be conducted in strict compliance with data security protocols. Physical data, primarily consisting of Informed Consent Forms (ICFs) and experimental procedure logs, will be securely stored in a locked filing cabinet within the laboratory to ensure confidentiality. Regarding electronic data acquisition, Electroencephalography (EEG) and behavioral data will be automatically recorded by computerized experimental systems. Upon the completion of data collection, all digital datasets will be archived on the laboratory's local server and backed up to a secure cloud storage service. |
