研究目的：

1.针对不同病理分级阶段的口腔黏膜癌变在OCT/OCM图像上呈现的特征差异细微的挑战，本项目拟开展高质量医学图像数据库构建，并围绕三个核心临床应用场景，深化对OCT/OCM图像在口腔黏膜癌变分级诊断中的应用。 2.基于最新的深度学习和机器学习技术，本研究将探讨构建针对口腔黏膜OCT/OCM图像细粒度特征学习模型的一系列关键科学问题，以满足复杂口腔黏膜癌变过程中精准医疗的需求，并力图推动无创口腔黏膜癌变病理分级自动诊断技术的突破。 3.将深入探索在类别差异不显著的情形下，细粒度特征学习及分类技术的系统性研究致力于提出一系列创新方法和模型，旨在促进医学图像细粒度分类技术准确性和扩展性方面的进步，有效解决医工交叉学科中存在的人工智能难题，并落实到临床应用中。  

Objectives of Study：

1. In response to the subtle challenges of the differences in characteristics of oral mucosal lesions at different pathological grading stages on OCT/OCM images, this project plans to build a high-quality medical image database and focus on three core clinical application scenarios to deepen the understanding of the use of OCT/OCM images in the graded diagnosis of oral mucosal lesions. 2. Based on the latest deep learning and machine learning technologies, this study will explore a series of key scientific issues in constructing fine-grained feature learning models for oral mucosal OCT/OCM images, aiming to meet the needs of precision medicine in the complex process of oral mucosal lesions and strive to advance breakthroughs in non-invasive automatic pathological grading diagnosis technology for oral mucosal lesions. 3. The study will further explore systematic research on fine-grained feature learning and classification technologies in cases where the differences between categories are not significant, aiming to propose a series of innovative methods and models. The goal is to promote progress in the accuracy and scalability of fine-grained medical image classification technologies, effectively address artificial intelligence challenges in interdisciplinary medical engineering, and implement these advancements in clinical applications.

纳入标准：

1.年龄在18岁以上，男女不限。
2.经病理活检诊断证实为口腔癌。
3.住院拟行口腔癌扩大切除术治疗者。
4.术前未接受过化疗、放疗等其他肿瘤治疗。

Inclusion criteria

1.Aged 18 years or older, with no restriction on gender.
2.Diagnosed with oral cancer confirmed by pathological biopsy.
3.Hospitalized patients scheduled to undergo extended resection of oral cancer.
4.No prior receipt of other anti-tumor treatments such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy before surgery.

排除标准：

1.伴有严重基础疾病不能耐受手术者。
2.精神疾病或智力障碍患者。
3.复发肿瘤。
4.女性患者在妊娠期或者哺乳期。
5.术前曾于口腔病变黏膜涂抹外用药物者。

Exclusion criteria：

1.Patients with severe underlying diseases who cannot tolerate surgery.
2.Patients with mental illness or intellectual disability.
3.Patients with recurrent tumors.
4.Female patients who are pregnant or lactating.
5.Patients who have applied topical drugs on the oral lesion mucosa before surgery.

Data collection and Management (A standard data collection and management system include a CRF and an electronic data capture：

A Case Report Form (CRF) is designed for this study, and its content is consistent with the study protocol. Clinically collected data will be recorded in the CRF in a timely, truthful, accurate, and complete manner. If electronic data are involved, the methods for electronic data recording and management shall be described. The principal investigator (PI) is responsible for the truthfulness, completeness, and accuracy of the data. The data retention period shall last until the completion of the research project.
