Objectives of Study: |
This study aims to develop a set of "assessment and feedback" strategies based on the Internet diagnosis and treatment environment, and evaluate the feasibility and potential effects of certain combinations under this strategy in improving the diagnosis and treatment behaviors and quality of Internet doctors through a pre-trial, providing preliminary data support for subsequent large-scale trials. Specifically, it can be broken down into the following two objectives: Sub-objective 1: Develop USPs-AnF strategies to promote the improvement of the quality of Internet diagnosis and treatment medical services (completed). Based on literature reviews and the Delphi method, the study identified three key feedback elements: clinical guideline entries, peer comparison rankings, and patient experience feedback. Sub-objective 2: Evaluate the feasibility and potential effects of the strategy. Verify the predictive effects of individual feedback elements on the quality improvement of Internet doctors (subjective outcomes) and the interaction of multiple feedback elements through a factorial design randomized controlled trial; and collect doctors' acceptance of the USPs-AnF strategy. |

Randomization Procedure (please state who generates the random number sequence and by what method): |
Use the `dplyr` package in R software. Import the original dataset containing all 404 USP visit records. The records include the unique case identifier `record_id` and the doctor's name. Each doctor may be associated with one or more cases. To ensure the reproducibility of the sampling process, set the random number seed to 123. The randomization is carried out in two steps: First, group the data by the doctor's name (i.e., each doctor is a grouping unit), and randomly select one case record from each doctor's cases to ensure that each doctor contributes only one case to the subsequent allocation, eliminating the potential bias caused by differences in the number of cases per doctor. Second, after the case extraction is completed, shuffle all the samples and randomly allocate them to 8 research groups. First, generate group numbers from 1 to 8, generate enough group labels in a loop according to the total sample size, and then randomly sample and allocate these labels to make the number of samples in each group as even as possible. After the grouping is completed, the program outputs the number of cases in each group for verification, and finally exports the grouping results as the official allocation table for the research implementation. |
