研究目的:

采用脑机接口技术对慢性意识障碍患者进行视觉运动想象任务训练,促进患者意识水平恢复,并将脑电技术与功能性近红外光谱技术相结合进行多模态评估,探讨脑机接口技术促进意识恢复的可能机制,为慢性意识障碍患者的促醒治疗提供新的方法和依据,促进患者早期、全面康复,提高临床康复疗效,帮助患者尽早回归家庭。  

Objectives of Study:

Training patients with chronic consciousness disorders in visual-motor imagery tasks using brain-computer interface (BCI) technology can promote the recovery of their consciousness levels. This study explores the potential mechanisms by which BCI technology facilitates consciousness recovery by combining electroencephalography (EEG) technology with functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) technology for multimodal assessment. This approach provides new methods and evidence to promote arousal therapy in patients with chronic consciousness disorders, facilitating early and comprehensive rehabilitation and improving clinical outcomes. Ultimately, it helps patients to return to their families as soon as possible.

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail:

 

纳入标准:

1.年龄18-70岁;2.基于CRS-R量表诊断为UWS和MCS;3.病程≥28天;4.病因包括缺血缺氧性脑病、脑外伤、脑卒中等;5.右利手者。

Inclusion criteria

1. Age 18–70 years; 2. Diagnosed with UWS and MCS based on the CRS-R scale; 3. Disease duration ≥ 28 days; 4. Causes include ischaemic-hypoxic encephalopathy, traumatic brain injury, stroke, etc.; 5. Right-handed individuals.

排除标准:

1.昏迷前存在其他神经或精神疾病史者;2.颅骨去骨瓣或行修补术后、神经刺激器植入物者;3.服用影响皮层兴奋性药物者;4.存在不可控制的癫痫或不自主运动者;5.视力及听力严重受损,无法完成事件相关电位检测或存在“脑机接口不响应”;6.家属拒绝签署知情同意书。

Exclusion criteria:

1. Individuals with a history of other neurological or psychiatric disorders prior to coma; 2. Individuals who have undergone cranial bone flap removal or repair surgery, or have implanted neural stimulators; 3. Individuals taking medications that affect cortical excitability; 4. Individuals with uncontrollable epilepsy or involuntary movements; 5. Individuals with severe visual or hearing impairments, unable to complete event-related potential testing or exhibiting ‘brain-computer interface non-response’; 6. Family members refuse to sign the informed consent form.
