研究目的：

脉络丛可能在脑退化及神经炎症中发挥关键作用。我们旨在评估使用3T磁共振成像下的脉络丛囊肿是否与肝硬化门静脉高压患者肝性脑病的发病机制有关。  

Objectives of Study：

The choroid plexus is increasingly recognized as a potential contributor to brain degeneration and neuroinflammation. This study aims to investigate whether choroid plexus cysts, as visualized by 3T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), are associated with the pathogenesis of hepatic encephalopathy in patients with liver cirrhosis and portal hypertension.

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

 

纳入标准：

肝性脑病组纳入标准： 1、符合肝硬化门静脉高压的临床和影像学证据； 2、肝性脑病West Haven分级0-2级； 3.年龄18-75岁 健康对照组纳入标准：无全身性疾病，无高血压，糖尿病，肝肾疾病等。

Inclusion criteria

Hepatic encephalopathy group inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with clinical and radiological evidence of liver cirrhosis with portal hypertension; 2. Hepatic encephalopathy graded 0–2 according to the West Haven criteria; 3. age between 18 and 75 years. Healthy control group inclusion criteria: No systemic diseases were present, including hypertension, diabetes, or hepatic and renal disorders etc.

排除标准：

肝性脑病组排除标准： 1、6个月内饮用酒精； 2、精神活性药物（如抗抑郁药物、神经抑制剂、苯二氮卓类药物）； 3、MRI禁忌症者； 4、严重心肺疾病不能配合者； 5、年龄龄<18 岁或>75 岁； 6、合并肝脏恶性肿瘤、快速进展的肝功能衰竭的患者; 7、肝性脑病West Haven分级3-4级患者。 健康对照组排除标准： （1）患有晕厥、癫痫等疾病的患者； （2）患有严重的精神疾病或神经系统疾病的患者； （3）孕妇或哺乳期妇女； （4）对MRI磁场有过敏反应的患者； （5）有金属物体（如心脏起搏器、人工耳蜗、金属假牙等）植入体内的患者。

Exclusion criteria：

Hepatic encephalopathy group exclusion criteria: 1. Alcohol consumption within the past 6 months; 2. use of psychoactive medications (such as antidepressants, neuroleptics, or benzodiazepines); 3. contraindications to MRI; 4. inability to cooperate due to severe cardiopulmonary disease; 5. age <18 or >75 years; 6. presence of hepatic malignancy or rapidly progressive liver failure; 7. Hepatic encephalopathy graded 3–4 according to the West Haven criteria. Healthy control group exclusion criteria: (1) Patients with a history of syncope, epilepsy, or related neurological conditions; (2) Patients with severe psychiatric disorders or significant neurological diseases; (3) Pregnant or lactating women; (4) Patients with known hypersensitivity to MRI magnetic fields; (5) Patients with implanted metallic devices, such as pacemakers, cochlear implants, or metal dental prostheses.
