Objectives of Study: |
(1) To propose a novel digitalized non-surgical protocol that integrates spinal decompression, controllable lateral force, and 3D ultrasound-imaging assessment technologies, aiming to investigate its effects on the level of spinal deformities and to explore the potential relationship between the change of the spinal deformity level and the amplitude of applied forces. (2) To assess the immediate effects of the developed protocol on the level of spinal deformities and musculoskeletal functions in subjects with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS), following a randomized control trial (RCT) design. (3) To assess the short-term effects of the developed protocol on the level of spinal deformities, musculoskeletal function, and quality of life in patients with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS), following a randomized control trial (RCT) design. |

纳入标准为:(1)年龄在10至14岁之间;(2)处于生长阶段,Risser征评分在0到3之间;(3)女性参与者为初潮前或初潮后不到1年;(4)参与者具有中度弯曲,定义为主弯曲的Cobb角在20°至45°之间。 |

Inclusion criteria |
The inclusion criteria are: (1) age ranging from 10 to 14 years old; (2) participants at the growth stage, with Risser sign scores ranging from 0 to 3; (3) for female participants, pre-menarche or less than 1-year post menarche; (4) participants with moderate curves, defined as a Cobb angle of the main curve ranging from 20° to 45°. |

排除标准: |

Exclusion criteria: |
Exclusion criteria are participants with: (1) other spinal-related diseases (e.g., herniated intervertebral disk); (2) sensitive/fragile skin that was unable to withstand the applied pressure; and (3) body mass index (BMI) > 25 kg/m2. |
