Objectives of Study: |
This study aims to evaluate coronary artery calcium scores (CACS) and calcification characteristics through chest CT scans, verifying their clinical value in assessing coronary artery disease (CAD) risk, plaque properties, and coronary events. As an objective indicator for evaluating atherosclerosis, CACS can provide direct evidence of CAD progression. This study will systematically validate the effectiveness of CACS and calcification characteristics in predicting CAD risk and develop a comprehensive risk assessment model. This model will combine CACS with other clinical indicators to improve the identification of high-risk patients. Additionally, the study will perform detailed analyses of imaging features in chest CT scans using advanced imaging technologies and image processing algorithms. By comparing these findings with intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) or optical coherence tomography (OCT) results, the study will assess the role of CT scans in evaluating plaque properties and predicting the risk of coronary events. Ultimately, the study aims to provide a basis for personalized treatment. |
