研究目的:

特发性正常压力脑积水(iNPH)是一种以脑室扩大、认知障碍、行走困难和尿失禁为特征的综合征。传统的iNPH评估主要通过量表和对患者询问,收到患者主观因素和文化水平影响,测评结果敏感度差,效率低,误诊率达到30%左右。随着精准医学发展和脑科学技术的进步,脑机接口技术在评估患者认知水平、记忆能力等方面具有无创、客观、高效等优点。因此探索脑机接口技术识别潜在iNPH患者,提高诊断效率,使患者尽早接受治疗具有重大意义。本实验研究目的旨在客观测量患者认知能量,量化患者认知能力改善程度,实现iNPH患者的快速精准诊断。  

Objectives of Study:

Idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus (iNPH) is a syndrome characterized by enlarged ventricles, cognitive impairment, gait difficulties, and urinary incontinence. The traditional assessment of iNPH mainly relies on scales and patient interviews, which are influenced by subjective factors and cultural levels of the patients. The sensitivity of the evaluation results is poor, the efficiency is low, and the misdiagnosis rate is around 30%. With the development of precision medicine and the advancement of neuroscience technology, brain-computer interface technology has the advantages of being non-invasive, objective, and highly efficient in assessing patients' cognitive levels and memory abilities. Therefore, exploring the use of brain-computer interface technology to identify potential iNPH patients and improve diagnostic efficiency, so that patients can receive early treatment, is of great significance. The purpose of this experimental study is to objectively measure the patients' cognitive energy, quantify the degree of improvement in their cognitive abilities, and achieve rapid and accurate diagnosis of iNPH patients.

纳入标准:

纳入标准为被诊断为疑似特发性正常压力脑积水的患者,即出现步态、认知及排尿功能障碍患者,同时伴有脑室扩张。

Inclusion criteria

The inclusion criteria are patients diagnosed as suspected Idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus(iNPH), presenting with gait, cognitive and urinary dysfunction, accompanied by ventricular enlargement.

排除标准:

排除标准为由脑出血、脑创伤或由其他原因引起的继发性脑积水

Exclusion criteria:

The exclusion criteria are patients with secondary hydrocephalus caused by brain hemorrhage, brain trauma, or other reasons.

本试验通过Neuroscan脑电采集系统采集患者在新旧刺激范式下的脑电数据,并将原始数据进行预处理,预处理后的评估指标包括:事件相关电位P600成分和新旧效应,时频特征,以及脑功能网络连接。

Index test:

This trial collects EEG data of patients under the new/old stimulation paradigm through the Neuroscan EEG acquisition system, and preprocesses the raw data. The evaluation indicators after preprocessing include: event-related potential P600 component and old/new effects, time-frequency characteristics, and brain functional network connections.

Target condition (The target condition is a particular disease or disease stage that the index test will be intended to identify. Please specify the characteristics in detail; the population should has a complete spectrum and good representative):

The target population is patients diagnosed as suspected iNPH. The disease characteristics are the triad of gait disturbance, urinary incontinence, and cognitive impairment. Imaging results show that iNPH patients have normal cerebrospinal fluid pressure but enlarged ventricles.
