研究目的：

本研究主要目的在于评估一种新型牙刷相较于普通牙刷对于患有牙龈炎、龋病的儿童/成人的菌斑清除能力以及临床效果改善，并观察受试者牙菌斑微生物的变化及牙刷本身的力学变化及微生物堆积情况。  

Objectives of Study：

The main objective of this study was to evaluate the plaque removal ability and clinical improvement of a new toothbrush compared to a regular toothbrush in children/adults with gingivitis and caries, and to observe the changes in plaque microorganisms in the subjects and the mechanical changes and microbial accumulation in the toothbrush itself.

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

纳入标准：

（1）≥18岁/≤14岁的男性或女性
（2）可熟练自主采用手动刷牙方法
（3）诊断为牙龈炎/龋病的患者
（4）至少余留16颗天然牙齿（冠修复体除外）
（5）受试者知情同意

Inclusion criteria

(1) Male or female ≥ 18 /≤14 years old
(2) Patients can skillfully and independently use the manual brushing method.
(3) Patients diagnosed with gingivitis/caries
(4) At least 16 natural teeth remain (except crown restoration)
(5) Subject's informed consen

排除标准：

(1)患有全身性疾病者
(2)怀孕或哺乳期
(3)吸烟者
(4)半年内有系统牙周治疗病史
(5)佩戴局部义齿的患者
(6)接受正畸治疗的患者

Exclusion criteria：

(1) Patients with systemic diseases
(2) Pregnancy or lactation
(3) Smokers
(4) Have a history of systematic periodontal treatment within half a year.
(5) Patients wearing partial dentures
(6) Patients receiving orthodontic treatment

Research assistants assigned subjects to the fine filament electroactive toothbrush group, the coarse filament electroactive toothbrush group, the fine filament nylon toothbrush group, or the coarse filament nylon toothbrush group based on a randomized sequential list of aligned groups generated by the computer software.

引导受试者进行检查及前期事务准备的研究助理知道受试者被分配在哪个组，但是对受试者，结果评估人员和实施检查的技术人员设盲；本研究为电活性牙刷组设置了相似的尼龙牙刷。

Blinding：

The research assistant who guided the subjects through the examination and the preparation of preliminaries knew which group the subjects were assigned to, but blinded the subjects, the outcome assessors, and the technicians who performed the examination; a similar nylon toothbrush was set up for the electroactive toothbrush group in this study.
