研究目的：

本研究拟建立低危甲状腺微小癌主动监测队列（约600例），获得中国低危甲状腺微小癌主动监测的肿瘤学结局、生活质量及心理状态等数据，并与同期接受即刻手术的同类患者进行比较，为低危甲状腺微小癌患者的临床治疗提供依据，并为治疗策略的实施提供切实的、标准化的方案。  

Objectives of Study：

This study aimed to establish a active surveillance cohort of patients with low-risk thyroid microcarcinoma (about 600 cases) to obtain oncological outcomes, quality of life and psychological status of these patients,and compare them with patients undergoing immediate surgery, so as to provide the basis for the clinical treatment decision of low-risk thyroid microcarcinoma, and to provide a practical and standardized plan for the implementation of treatment strategy.

纳入标准：

a. 最大结节长径≤1.0cm；b. 美国甲状腺协会指南甲状腺结节风险分层标准评估为高度可疑恶性结节；c. 无甲状腺外侵犯或临床发现的淋巴结转移或远处转移; d. 不与喉返神经、气管或食管相邻；

Inclusion criteria

highly suspicious nodules ≤10 mm assessed by the 2015 ATA ultrasound malignancy risk stratification of thyroid nodules without the following high-risk factors: a) extrathyroidal invasion,clinical lymph node metastasis (LNM) or distant metastasis (DM) and b) nodules adjacent to recurrent laryngeal nerve, trachea, or esophagus

排除标准：

a. 既往甲状腺恶性肿瘤手术史；b. 拒绝签署知情同意书的患者；c. 不能坚持定期随访的患者; d. 甲状腺癌家族史（≥2个直系亲属诊断甲状腺癌）；e. 既往诊断过精神类疾病

Exclusion criteria：

a) a history of previous thyroid cancer surgery, b) patients refusing to sign informed consent, c) patients who could not adhere to regular follow-ups, d) a family history of thyroid cancer (≥2 family members diagnosed with thyroid cancer) and e) a history of previous mental illness.
