研究目的：

观察行脊柱外科手术的老年患者术前埃德蒙顿衰弱评分与术后谵妄发生的相关性，同时关注术后谵妄其他危险因素，以期为术后谵妄预防提供帮助。  

Objectives of Study：

This prospective cohort study focused on the predictive value of frailty or pre-frailty assessed by Edmonton Frailty Scale (EFS) for postoperative delirium in spinal surgery patients.

药物成份或治疗方案详述：

 

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

 

纳入标准：

年龄≥65岁且预计住院时间≥2d，临床上诊断脊柱退行性疾病需行择期脊柱外科手术的患者。

Inclusion criteria

Patients aged more than 65-years old, who scheduled elective spinal surgery and were predicted to stay in hospital more than 2 days.

排除标准：

1）急诊患者或者术前检查不完善者；
2）术前存在严重认知功能减退；
3）术前因视力、听力障碍而无法看图、阅读或根据指示做出行为，或优势手使用障碍（无法画图）者，或不能说、阅读或理解普通话；
4）预计存活时间≤24小时者。

Exclusion criteria：

patients with emergency surgery, expected length of survive ≤24 hours, severe preoperative cognitive impairment, visual or hearing impairment (unable to communicate with interviewer with mandarin) were excluded.
