研究目的：

对慢性牙周炎（chronic periodontitis, CP）和非酒精性脂肪性肝病（non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, NAFLD）进行流行病学关联调查，通过病例对照研究探究 CP 和 NAFLD 的相关性；通过观察性队列研究探究通过牙周基础治疗是否能够在控制CP的基础上同时减缓NAFLD的进展。  

Objectives of Study：

To investigate the epidemiological association between chronic periodontitis (CP) and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), and explore the correlation between CP and NAFLD through a case-control study; A cohort study explored whether basic periodontal treatment can slow down the progression of NAFLD while controlling CP.

纳入标准：

CP与NAFLD的相关性研究（第一部分）：吉林大学第一医院体检中心就诊的35～75 岁可配合并同意口腔检查的成年人。 牙周基础治疗对NAFLD转归影响（第二部分）：NAFLD 合并中重度CP者，治疗组能配合牙周治疗。

Inclusion criteria

The study on the correlation between CP and NAFLD(Part 1): Adults aged 35-75 who can cooperate and agree to the oral examination in the Physical Examination Center of the First Hospital of Jilin University. The effect of periodontal initial therapy on the outcome of NAFLD(Part 2): Patients with NAFLD and moderate or severe CP, the treatment group can cooperate with periodontal treatment.

排除标准：

CP与NAFLD的相关性研究（第一部分）：(1)入组前一年内做过牙周治疗;(2)患有除NAFLD外其他肝脏疾病（酒精性肝病、病毒性肝炎、药物性肝病、肝豆状核变性、自身免疫性肝病、肝血管瘤等）;(3)有出血性疾病或凝血功能异常;(4)妊娠期女性;(5)饮酒量男性>21标准杯/周、女性14标准杯/周（1标准杯约为14g乙醇）;(6)不能配合检查;(7)资料缺失或失访。 牙周基础治疗对NAFLD转归影响（第二部分）：满足第一部分排除标准基础上，(1)备孕期女性;(2)牙周治疗组排除传染性疾病者、置有心脏起搏器者、活动性心绞痛、半年内发作过的心肌梗死以及未能有效控制的高血压和心力衰竭等不适合和不能耐受牙周治疗者。

Exclusion criteria：

The study on the correlation between CP and NAFLD (Part 1): (1)Patients who had periodontal treatment within one year before enrollment ;(2) Patients who suffered from liver diseases other than NAFLD (alcoholic liver disease, viral hepatitis, drug-induced liver disease, hepatolenticular degeneration, Autoimmune liver disease, hepatic hemangioma, etc.);(3) bleeding disorders or abnormal coagulation function;(4)pregnant women;(5) alcohol consumption>21 standard cups/week for men,>14 standard cups/week for women (1 standard cup is about 14g ethanol);(6)Unable to cooperate with the inspection;(7) data missing or lost to follow-up. The effect of periodontal initial therapy on the outcome of NAFLD (Part 2): On the basis of meeting the exclusion criteria in Part 1, (1)women who are preparing for pregnancy;(2)periodontal treatment group excludes infectious diseases, cardiac pacemakers, active angina pectoris, myocardial infarction within half-year, uncontrolled high blood pressure and heart failure which not suitable and cannot tolerate periodontal therapy.
