研究目的：

本项目拟开发新型血清标志物，对甲状腺癌和甲状腺良性结节进行区分，为临床甲状腺癌患者的诊断提供帮助。  

Objectives of Study：

This project intends to develop new serum markers to distinguish thyroid cancer from benign thyroid nodules, so as to provide help for the diagnosis of clinical thyroid cancer patients.

药物成份或治疗方案详述：

 

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

 

纳入标准：

1）甲状腺癌组：年龄25-75岁的分化型甲状腺癌患者，具有临床手术病理；2）甲状腺良性结节组：年龄25-75岁的甲状腺良性结节患者，具有穿刺细胞学检查或临床手术病理；3）健康志愿者组：年龄25-75岁健康志愿者，具备没有甲状腺结节的临床超声报告。

Inclusion criteria

1) Thyroid cancer group: differentiated thyroid cancer patients aged 25-75 years with clinical surgical pathology; 2) Benign thyroid nodule group: patients with benign thyroid nodule aged 25-75 years with puncture cytology or clinical surgical pathology; 3) Healthy volunteers group: healthy volunteers aged 25-75 years with clinical ultrasound reports without thyroid nodule.

排除标准：

(1)甲状腺功能异常(甲亢、甲减等);(2)有放化疗史;(3)有其他部位肿瘤;(4) 6个月内有手术史或输血史;(5)患有严重肝、肾疾病的;(6)患有代谢性疾病(糖尿病、高脂血症等);(7)有免疫系统疾病(红斑狼疮、HIV等).

Exclusion criteria：

The individuals in DTC group are the patients with thyroid cancer diagnosed by biopsy. The serum samples were collected before surgery. The individuals will be excluded if they have the following conditions: (1) Abnormal thyroid function (Hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism etc.); (2) Having a history of chemoradiotherapy; (3) Having other site tumors; (4) Having a history of surgery or blood transfusion in the past six months; (5) Having severe liver or kidney diseases; (6) Having metabolic diseases (Diabetes, Hyperlipidemia etc.); (6) Having immune system diseases (Lupus erythematosus, HIV etc.)
The individuals in thyroid benign nodule group are the patients diagnosed by biopsy after FNA or surgery. The serum samples were collected before surgery or at the physical examination. The exclusion criteria were the same for patients in thyroid cancer group.
The individuals in health control group are the volunteers without any thyroid tumor in ultrasonic detection. Additionally, the thyroid function and blood biochemical indexes of these volunteers were all in the normal range. The healthy female volunteers were also excluded from breast nodules and uterine fibroids.

本研究的检测目标是8种新型甲状腺激素代谢产物，包括：0碘甲状腺原氨酸，3-碘甲状腺原氨酸，3'-碘甲状腺原氨酸，3-碘甲状腺原胺，3，5-二碘甲状腺原氨酸，3，3'-二碘甲状腺原氨酸，3’，5'-二碘甲状腺原氨酸，3，5-二碘甲状腺原胺。所用检测设备为液相色谱于质谱联用技术。

Index test:

Eight novel thyroid hormone metabolites were tested in this study, including: iodothyronine, 3-iodothyronine, 3' -iodothyronine, 3-iodothyronine, 3, 5-diiodothyronine, 3', 5' -diiodothyronine, 3, 5-diiodothyronine. The detection equipment is liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.

The target population was the distinction between patients with differentiated thyroid cancer and those with benign thyroid nodules, and the screening of healthy volunteers.
