Objectives of Study：

to assess the feasibility of WE colonoscopy as a salvage measure following the failure of standard AI colonoscopy

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

 

纳入标准：

年龄在18-80岁的具有普通结肠镜检查指标的患者，在传统注气结肠镜失败后进行补救。

Inclusion criteria

all 18 to 80-year-old outpatients undergoing for open-access unsedated colonoscopy for routine indications were considered eligible to enter the study. In the scenarios if the maximum pain score of the patients were more than 5 (by the 11-point visual analog scale, with 0-no pain and 10-most severe pain imaginable), or the level of technical difficulty of the procedure as level 3 (subjectively rated by the endoscopists as 1=easy, 2= slightly difficult and 3=extremely difficult) when advancing the scope into the colon, patients are automatically included in this study.

排除标准：

（1）年龄18-80岁；（2）肠道准备极差；（3）并严重的心、肺等疾病；（4）急性消化道出血（不包括痔疮出血）；（5）结肠切除术史；（6）严重肠道梗阻或结构性肿瘤；（7）怀孕；（8）凝血功能障碍；(9)拒绝签署或不具备能力签署知情同意书者。

Exclusion criteria：

(1) aged＜18 years or ＞80 years; (2) poor bowel preparation (BBPS<6); (3) severe heart or lung disease; (4) Acute gastrointestinal bleeding; (5) History of colon resection; (6) severe colon stricture or obstructing tumor; (7) current pregnancy; (8) hemodynamic instability; and (9) inability to provide informed consent.

数据采集和管理（说明：数据采集和管理由两部分组成，一为病例记录表(Case Record Form, CRF)，二为电子采集和管理系统(Electronic Data Capture, EDC)，如ResMan即为一种基于互联网的EDC：

数据保存与管理由医学统计人员指定数据管理员，采用SPSS软件进行数据保存与管理。为保证数据的准确性，由两个数据录入员独立进行两次录入并核对。 对病例报告表中存在的疑问，数据管理员将产生疑问解答表，并通过临床监查员向研究者发出询问，研究者应尽快解答并返回，数据管理员根据研究者的回答进行数据修改、确认与录入，必要时可以再次发出疑问解答表。

Data collection and Management (A standard data collection and management system include a CRF and an electronic data capture：

Data administrators， who are designated by the medical statisticians, use SPSS software to preserve and manage data . In order to ensure the accuracy of the data, the two data administrators input and check the data in two times independently. As for The questions in the case report form, the data administrator will make the questions answering table, and send inquiries to researchers by CRA, then researchers should answer and return data as soon as possible. The administrator modify, confirm and input according to the answer, they may issue a question answer sheet again if necessary.
