研究目的：

对食管癌患者预后的准确评估是临床决策过程的一个重要组成部分。本研究的目的是利用深度学习网络来建立一个综合的食管癌预后模型，用于预测局部晚期胸段食管鳞癌的远期生存.  

Objectives of Study：

Accurate evaluation of the prognosis of patients with esophageal cancer is an important part of the clinical decision-making process. The purpose of this study is to use deep learning network to establish a comprehensive prognostic model of esophageal cancer, which can be used to predict the long-term survival of locally advanced thoracic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.

药物成份或治疗方案详述：

 

Description for medicine or protocol of treatment in detail：

 

纳入标准：

①年龄18-70岁，男女不限；②组织病理学证明的Ⅱ-Ⅳa胸段食管鳞癌（UICC 2002分期）；③入选前未行治疗（手术、放化疗）

Inclusion criteria

(1) 18-70 years old, male or female; (2) histopathologically proved Ⅱ-Ⅳa thoracic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (UICC2002 stage); (3) no treatment (surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy) before selection.

排除标准：

①治疗前有远处转移者；②离院或放弃治疗，转入其他医院手术；③临床资料数据不全者。④影像资料不全，图像质量差；

Exclusion criteria：

(1) patients with distant metastasis before treatment; (2) leaving hospital or giving up treatment and transferred to other hospitals for operation; (3) patients with incomplete clinical data. (4) the image data is incomplete and the image quality is poor.
