研究目的：

1.通过收集5000例成人ICU患者的临床信息来调查中国成人脓毒症的流行病学、卫生经济学、治疗和预后的现状。 2.通过收集5000例成人ICU患者临床数据和生物标本来建立中国成人脓毒症的临床数据库和生物样本库。 3.通过对其中600例的患者进行长达2年的随访，得到中国成人脓毒症存活状态、再住院率、住院主要诊断、再次住院的医疗费用及总的医疗费用、器官功能与生活质量情况。  

Objectives of Study：

1. To investigate the epidemiology, health economics, treatment and prognosis of Chinese adult sepsis patients by collecting 5000 adult ICU patients' clinical information; 2. To build a clinical database and biobank for Chinese adult sepsis patients by collecting 5000 adult ICU patients' clinical datas and biological specimens; 3. To investigate the survival condition, rehospitalization rate, main diagnosis and medical costs, total medical expenses, organ function and life quality of Chinese adult sepsis patients by two years follow-up of 600 cases.

纳入标准：

我们将纳入观察期间入住参研单位ICU年龄≥18周岁的所有病人。

Inclusion criteria

We will include all adult patients (age of >/=18 yrs) admitted to the ICUs in the participating centers during the observational period.

排除标准：

我们将排除住ICU<24小时及同一住院期间≥2次入住同一ICU的患者。

Exclusion criteria：

We will exclude patients who stay in ICU <24 hrs and readmitted to the same ICU in same hospital stay.
